MP Rolls Out ‘Sugam Transport Service from September 25 Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced the launch of the **Chief Minister Sugam Transport Service** from September 25. Speaking at the Passenger Transport Vision Summit 2026 in Indore he said the aim is to provide safe simple modern and reliable bus travel to people across the state. The Chief Minister said Madhya Pradesh has a road network of nearly 5 lakh kilometers and has the potential to operate more than 15000 buses. The new service is expected to improve connectivity especially in areas where public transport options are limited. BJP’s ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ to Begin on September 17 Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and BJP state president Hemant Khandelwal announced a month-long **Seva Sankalp Abhiyan** from September 17 to October 17. The campaign will focus on public service activities across Madhya Pradesh. Dr. Yadav said six new expressways are planned in the state and highlighted recent infrastructure and law-and-order developments. Hemant Khandelwal said the campaign will also inform people about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public life and the changes seen in India and Madhya Pradesh during this period. BJP workers will organize various outreach and service programs. Massive Stone-Pelting at Pandhurna Gotmar Fair A major clash broke out during the famous Gotmar Fair in Pandhurna Madhya Pradesh. People from Pandhurna and Savargaon sides threw stones at each other in the traditional event. Officials said 1321 people were injured* and eight seriously injured persons were referred to Nagpur for treatment. Later a youth from the Pandhurna side cut the ceremonial flag with an axe bringing the event to an end. Videos from the fair show people throwing stones and using cloth slings. Three youths were reportedly trapped under a tin structure during the incident. Authorities are reviewing security arrangements after the large-scale injuries. Congress to Deposit ₹10 Lakh for Rahul Gandhi’s Indore Program The Congress party has intensified preparations for Rahul Gandhi’s proposed **“Students’ Voice”** program in Indore on September 19. Thieves Loot Cash and Jewelry from ACP’s Home in Bhopal A major theft has been reported from the house of Traffic ACP Vijay Dubey in Bhopal. Police said unknown thieves broke into the house in the DK-2 area of Kolar and stole cash and jewelry worth nearly **₹10 lakh**. At the time of the incident ACP Dubey was on duty while family members were away in Ujjain. According to police the thieves broke the main gate lock searched the house and escaped with about ₹3 lakh in cash and gold and silver ornaments. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway. Lumpy Disease Spreads in Gwalior 23 Cattle Dead Lumpy Skin Disease has become a serious concern in Gwalior. Officials say **23 cattle have died in the last four days** due to the infection. Several infected cows have been seen roaming on roads and public places raising concerns about animal welfare and disease control. Some of the deaths were reported at the Ratwai isolation center where affected cattle were receiving treatment. On Thursday alone two seriously infected cows died. Residents and animal welfare groups have questioned the effectiveness of rescue and isolation efforts. Authorities say monitoring and treatment measures are continuing. Heavy Rain Alert Issued for 12 Districts in MP After a three-day break monsoon activity has become active again in Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain was reported in Bhopal Vidisha Damoh Tikamgarh and Khandwa on Friday. Waterlogging was also seen in some low-lying areas of Damoh. The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for **12 districts** including Satna Rewa Sidhi Shahdol Mandla and Balaghat. Weather officials say rainfall is likely to increase in the Indore Ujjain and Narmadapuram divisions from Saturday.
