Tiranga Yatra Fills Kolar Road with National Pride Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said the country is celebrating the 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said India is now seen by the world as a strong and powerful nation. The Tricolour is proudly flying across the country on land in the air and at sea. Dr. Yadav flagged off a Tiranga Yatra organized by the Karmashree organization in Kolar Road Bhopal. He joined the journey in an open jeep and led the march. Former Pro-tem Speaker and MLA Rameshwar Sharma was also present at the event. CM Mohan Yadav Inspects Rural Health Centre in Barwani Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inspected the Sub Health Centre at Talun during his visit to Barwani district on Friday. He reviewed the health facilities available at the centre and asked about healthcare services being provided to villagers. The Chief Minister spoke to the Community Health Officer about pregnant women in the area and the regular health check-ups being provided to them. He also asked about the identification and monitoring of high-risk pregnant women. Dr. Yadav further reviewed the number of sickle cell patients in the area. He sought information about their treatment regular check-ups and overall health monitoring. Jewellery and Cash Worth Rs 7 Lakh Stolen from Sehore Temple A major theft has been reported at the Shri Ram Temple in Khajuria Ghenghi village of Ichhawar tehsil in Sehore district. According to reports unknown thieves broke the temple locks during the night and entered the sanctum. They stole gold and silver jewellery offered to the idols along with a silver umbrella and cash from the donation box. The stolen items are estimated to be worth around seven lakh rupees. Villagers discovered the theft when they reached the temple in the morning. They found broken locks and scattered items. The villagers informed Ichhawar police and demanded quick action against the thieves. Officials Stage Pen-Down Protest Against IAS Officer Officials and employees staged a pen-down protest against IAS officer Neha Maraviya at Adi Bhavan in Bhopal. The protesters have made serious allegations against the officer. They claimed that employees were abused their salary increments were stopped and they were threatened with suspension. The employees also alleged that payments worth around 30 crore rupees related to tribal women have been held up. A large number of employees came out in protest and demanded action. The incident has created concern in administrative circles. Employee organisations are now demanding an investigation into the allegations and appropriate action against the officer. Jabalpur Paddy Scam to Face State-Level Probe The alleged 34-crore-rupee paddy transportation scam in Jabalpur will now face a state-level investigation. The Madhya Pradesh High Court heard the case on Friday and directed collectors of all districts in the state to conduct an inquiry and submit their reports soon. The hearing was conducted by a division bench of Acting Chief Justice Vivek Rusia and Justice Pradeep Mittal. The court also directed the Madhya Pradesh Civil Supplies Corporation to submit its response through an affidavit. The Economic Offences Bureau or EOW has also been asked to submit the status of its investigation in the case. Lokayukta Raids Revenue Officer Over Property Allegations The Lokayukta has conducted raids at the properties linked to Indore Municipal Corporation Assistant Revenue Officer Jitendra Kumar Pandey. The raids began around six in the morning on Friday. Two teams of around 20 Lokayukta officials reached Pandeys residence and a hostel registered in the name of his wife Bhavna. The teams included DSPs Sunil Talan and Anand Chauhan along with inspectors Ashutosh Mithas and Sachin Pateria. The action is part of an investigation into alleged properties and assets. Officials are checking documents and other records during the searches. Further details are expected after the investigation is completed. State-Level Independence Day Celebration at Lal Parade Ground The state-level celebration of the 80th Independence Day will be held at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will be the chief guest at the main function. During the programme police officers and employees who have received police medals will be honoured. Other officers and employees for their outstanding work will also receive recognition. The event will include a grand parade and cultural performances. The National Flag will be unfurled and the Tricolour will receive a salute. The state-level ceremony is expected to showcase the spirit of patriotism and celebrate the countrys Independence Day with pride. Temple Theft in Barwani Caught on CCTV A theft at the Mangalnath Hanuman Temple in Julwania Barwani district has been captured on CCTV cameras. According to reports thieves broke the temple lock during the night and entered the premises. They allegedly stole two donation boxes and a fan before escaping. The temple management informed the police after discovering the theft. Police are now examining the CCTV footage to identify the suspects. The incident has caused anger among local residents. Police officials said efforts are underway to identify and arrest the accused. The investigation is continuing and the police are expected to take further action soon. Heavy Rain Expected in Several Areas Monsoon activity remains strong in Madhya Pradesh. The India Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain in several parts of the state. East Madhya Pradesh may receive very heavy rain at some places while West Madhya Pradesh is also likely to get heavy showers. Rain thunderstorms and lightning may occur in different areas. The weather is expected to remain cloudy over the next few days. People are advised to stay alert during heavy rain and avoid going near rivers drains and other waterlogged areas. Authorities are also keeping a close watch on the situation as more rain is expected.
