CM Mohan Cracks Down: Three Officials Suspended Over Public Complaints Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav suspended three government officials during his visit to Chhindwara on Friday. The action was taken after repeated complaints from people were not resolved through the CM Helpline. The suspended officials are Acting CMHO Dr. Naresh Gunnade Tehsildar Sunaina Bramhe and Patwari Siddhant Sahu. Dr. Gunnade was suspended after a woman did not receive maternity assistance despite filing a complaint. The Tehsildar and Patwari were suspended for failing to resolve public complaints on time. The Chief Minister said the government will take strict action against officers who ignore peoples problems. He added that every public complaint must be handled quickly and honestly and no official will be spared if they fail in their duty. CM Mohan Launches Jan Vishwas Campaign Across Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched the Chief Minister Jan Vishwas Campaign in Chhindwara on Friday. He said the campaign aims to improve public services and strengthen peoples trust in the government. The Chief Minister announced that from now on no government office will hold meetings on Fridays. Instead all officers will visit villages and towns meet people inspect government schemes and solve local problems on the spot. He said the campaign will help ensure that welfare schemes reach every eligible citizen. The Jan Vishwas Campaign will continue until January 7 2027. Dr. Yadav asked all government officers and employees to work with honesty dedication and commitment to serve the people and provide good governance across the state. Bhopal Traders Protest Over Road Barricades Shopkeepers in Bhopal held a protest on Friday against barricades placed near Moti Masjid. They closed their shops and sat on a dharna saying the barricades have been causing problems for many months. Traders said customers are finding it difficult to reach the market and their businesses have suffered because of the roadblocks. Markets including Chowk Bazaar and Lakherapura also remained closed in support of the protest. Traders Association President Abhishek Jain said the protest will continue until the police remove the barricades. Earlier this week traders had taken out a rally to warn the police and district administration. They are demanding the immediate removal of the barricades so that normal traffic can resume and business activities can return to normal. SDM Apologises to High Court in Gas Blast Case The Madhya Pradesh High Court heard the Avanti Gas Pipeline blast case in Indore on Friday. Junior Indore SDM Ghanshyam Dhangar apologised for filing a wrong affidavit before the court. He admitted that incorrect information was submitted about compensation and medical expenses for the victims. The SDM assured the court that the state government would bear the full cost of treatment for all injured people. The High Court directed the Madhya Pradesh government and Indore Municipal Corporation to provide proper medical care and fair compensation to all victims. The court stressed that the affected families should receive timely support. FIR Against 20 After Attack on Kanwar Pilgrims Two Kanwar pilgrims were seriously injured after being attacked with iron rods and hammers in Gwalior. Following the incident local people protested outside a police station for nearly three hours demanding strict action. After the protest police registered an FIR against 20 people in connection with the attack. The injured men were taken for medical treatment. Police have started an investigation and are trying to identify all those involved. Officials said action will be taken according to the law. Security has been increased in the area to prevent any further tension or violence. Heavy Rain Hits Datia Schools Closed Heavy rain lashed Datia in Madhya Pradesh on Friday. The district received 1.57 inches of rain in just four hours forcing authorities to close schools as a safety measure. Roads in Raisen and Sidhi were also flooded making travel difficult for people. At the same time many parts of the state are still facing a shortage of rainfall. Around 48 districts have received less rain than normal raising concerns about crop damage. Farmers are worried because dry weather is affecting farming activities. Officials are closely monitoring the weather and the condition of crops across the state.
