Brahmin Groups Protest Over Film Title Dialogues Protest Against Netflix Film in Bhopal Protests erupted in Bhopal against the upcoming Netflix film *Ghooskhor Pandit*. Members of the Akhil Bharatiya Brahmin Samaj staged a protest near DB Mall objecting to the film’s title and dialogues shown in the trailer. The group said a particular dialogue insulted the Brahmin community and hurt religious sentiments. Protesters demanded that Netflix remove the objectionable content and change the film’s title. They warned of stronger protests if their demands are ignored. Netflix has not issued any official response so far. CM Mohan Yadav Performs Yoga with Baba Ramdev Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was seen performing yoga with yoga guru Baba Ramdev in Haridwar. The session was held at Patanjali Yogpeeth where the Chief Minister practiced various yoga postures including headstand. Dr. Yadav said yoga should be part of daily life for a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Meanwhile BJP state president Hemant Khandelwal who is in Delhi held discussions with MPs from Madhya Pradesh on development-related issues during a lunch meeting. Influencer Apologises to BJP MP in Indore Case A social media influencer from Indore has issued a public apology after a case was filed against him. Influencer Jatin Shukla made a reel on the Indore water crisis and used abusive language against BJP MP Shankar Lalwani. After the video went viral and police registered a case Shukla released another video apologising. He said his comments were made due to lack of information and without bad intention. He added that he did not want to insult or defame the local MP. Morena Shut Over Protest Against UGC Law Members of the Savarna community called for a shutdown in Morena to protest against the UGC law. The bandh was observed from 9 am to 2 pm leading to the closure of major markets across the city. The protest remained peaceful. Considering the wedding season an agreement was reached between the administration and protesters after which markets reopened in the afternoon. Police remained deployed to maintain law and order. Protesters demanded that the government reconsider the law and address their concerns. Cow Remains Found Again in Mandsaur Tension spread in Mandsaur after cow remains were found for the second time in 13 days. On Thursday afternoon a severed head and leg of a cow were found near Nayapura area. After the incident members of Hindu organizations gathered on Nayapura Road and blocked traffic by staging a sit-in protest. The road remained completely closed for some time. Police reached the spot and tried to calm the crowd. Authorities have launched an investigation to identify those responsible. Som Distilleries Licences Suspended The Excise Department has suspended licences of two units of Som Distilleries in Raisen district. The action was taken over alleged illegal transport of liquor to Daman and Diu using fake permits and documents. Excise Commissioner Abhijeet Agrawal ordered the suspension after legal consultation. Warehouses of both units were sealed late Wednesday night in the presence of senior officials. Further investigation is underway and strict action has been promised if more violations are found. Cutter Attack Accused Arrested in Bhopal Police have arrested the man who attacked three female students with a cutter in Bhopal. The accused was caught after a late-night operation in the Chhola area. Police identified him as Devendra Ahirwar a resident of Sagar district. Initial investigation revealed that he attacked the students out of anger following a fight with his wife. The victims are receiving medical treatment. Police said the accused will be produced in court and further investigation is ongoing. Cold Intensifies Across Madhya Pradesh Cold weather has intensified again in Madhya Pradesh. Minimum temperatures dropped below 10 degrees Celsius in Gwalior and seven other cities. Rajgarh recorded the lowest temperature in the state. Dense fog was reported in more than 30 districts affecting morning visibility and traffic. The weather department said the cold wave may continue for the next few days. People have been advised to stay warm and avoid early morning travel especially in fog-prone areas.
