MP Administrative Reshuffle: 11 IAS Officers Transferred Ahead of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s Dubai visit the Madhya Pradesh government has made a major administrative reshuffle. Eleven IAS officers have been transferred to new posts. The list includes officers working at the Secretary and Additional Secretary levels. The General Administration Department has also issued separate orders for six State Administrative Service officers. They have been given new responsibilities in different departments. The new postings include Chief Executive Officers of District Panchayats and Additional Fair Officers for the Simhastha event in Ujjain. The government has not given any detailed reason for the administrative changes. MP TET Exam Will Now Be Held Offline Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced an important change in Madhya Pradesh’s education system. Speaking at the state-level Teachers’ Day award ceremony in Bhopal the Chief Minister said the Teacher Eligibility Test or TET will now be held offline. He said the decision is part of major changes in the education system. This will be the first time that the TET examination will be conducted offline in Madhya Pradesh after the Supreme Court’s order. The announcement was made in the presence of teachers and education department officials. More details about the examination schedule are expected later. CM Talks to Gen Z Teachers in Indore Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a special interaction with Gen Z teachers and education department officials in Indore on Teachers’ Day. The programme was held at Ahilya Ashram Number One. Government teachers and officials born after 1997 took part in the discussion. The aim was to understand their ideas experiences and suggestions. The Chief Minister asked teachers about new and creative ways of teaching students. Some teachers said they use videos to make lessons interesting. Others use colourful posters and teaching materials in classrooms. The CM also asked them to share more examples of new teaching methods. Umang Singhar Writes to PM Over Tribal Children’s Deaths Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the deaths of Baiga tribal children in Madhya Pradesh’s Balaghat district. Singhar raised concerns about the situation in tribal areas. He said the central government talks about ending Maoism and bringing development to affected regions. However he said the ground situation in Balaghat tells a different story. According to Singhar tribal families are still facing serious problems related to health nutrition and basic facilities. He urged the Prime Minister to look into the matter and take steps to improve conditions in the tribal areas. Ragini Nayak Targets Vijayvargiya Over Remark Congress national spokesperson Ragini Nayak has targeted Madhya Pradesh Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya over his controversial “ghanta” remark. Nayak said Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Indore would bring no benefit to the BJP. Her statement has once again started a political debate in the state. The issue has also brought Vijayvargiya’s earlier remark during the Bhagirathpura contaminated water incident back into the spotlight. Political leaders are reacting strongly to the statements. The Congress and BJP are once again involved in a war of words. The latest comments have added more heat to the political atmosphere in Madhya Pradesh. Digvijaya Singh Joins Teachers’ Protest Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh has joined the protest by teacher recruitment candidates. Candidates from teacher categories one two and three have been on hunger strike and protest for the past 15 days. The protest is now gaining political attention. Digvijaya Singh reached the protest site and supported the candidates. This comes a day after protesters stopped the convoys of Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav during Janmashtami. Digvijaya Singh had earlier also supported their demands and said that the candidates’ demands were justified. Jan Seva Mitras Demand Jobs Back Members of the Jan Seva Mitra organisation have staged a protest demanding their jobs back. Representatives of around 9300 Jan Seva Mitras held a sit-in protest near Babasaheb Ambedkar’s statue on Saturday. The protesters reminded Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav about a promise made by former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Shivraj had announced during a Jan Seva Mitra meeting at Lal Parade Ground that their services would continue. However many Jan Seva Mitras were later removed from their work. They are now demanding reinstatement and asking the government to fulfil the earlier promise. Two Kaliasot Dam Gates Opened in Bhopal Continuous rainfall has increased water levels in rivers and dams across Madhya Pradesh. In Bhopal two gates of the Kaliasot Dam were opened to release excess water. In Sheopur the Amral River is flowing strongly and several areas are facing waterlogging. The Gupteshwar Temple has been submerged due to rising water. Water has also entered Vijaypur’s vegetable market and nearby areas. The Amral and Kuno rivers are moving close to the danger level. The administration is keeping a close watch on the situation as heavy rainfall continues in several parts of the state.
