High Court Acts After Video of Children Crossing Flooded Betwa Dam The Madhya Pradesh High Court has taken suo motu notice after a video showed school children crossing the flooded Betwa River on a stop dam in Vidisha district. The video went viral on social media and raised serious safety concerns. The court has issued notices to the state government the Public Works Department and the Vidisha Collector asking them to explain the situation. Officials are expected to take steps to ensure safe travel for school children. --- MP CM Plans Better Development for Large Village Panchayats Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has asked officials to prepare a special development plan for large village panchayats and villages near cities. He said better planning and stronger management will help improve roads drainage water supply and other public facilities. The Chief Minister also directed officials to promote cow rearing under the Mukhyamantri Vrindavan Gram Yojana to support rural families. The issue has sparked political and public discussion. --- Panchayat Member Detained in ₹21 Crore Cyber Fraud Case The investigation into a cyber fraud of more than 21 crore rupees has reached Shajapur district in Madhya Pradesh. The victim is senior Chartered Accountant Ashok Vijayvargiya from Gwalior. A team of the State Cyber Police detained District Panchayat member Jagdish Fauji for questioning. Police said around 50 lakh rupees were transferred through a current bank account linked to him. Based on this information officers questioned him and later took him to Gwalior for further investigation. The police are trying to trace the money trail and identify all people involved in the large cyber fraud case. --- Supreme Court Gets Tough on Illegal Buildings in Bhopal The Supreme Court has taken a strict stand on illegal construction and the commercial use of residential buildings in Bhopal. During Wednesdays hearing the court refused to allow any interference in the investigation ordered by it. The court also cancelled all stay orders given by the Madhya Pradesh High Court to shop owners in the case. Arguments were presented regarding the action of the states ten-member inquiry committee. The next hearing has been fixed for September 15. The Supreme Court clearly said that its investigation must continue without any obstruction and that illegal construction issues should be handled seriously.
