MP Appeals: Offer Eid Prayers Only in Mosques and Eidgahs In Madhya Pradesh Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid) will be celebrated tomorrow. The Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board asked Muslims not to offer Eid prayers on roads or public places. The board said prayers should happen only in mosques and Eidgahs. Officials sent instructions to mosques Eidgahs dargahs and Waqf groups across the state. People were also told to celebrate the festival peacefully and follow government rules. If large crowds are expected local officers should be informed so safety and traffic arrangements can be made. The board said peace and cooperation are important during the festival. IPS Officer’s Daughter Found Dead in Bhopal A 17-year-old girl daughter of IPS officer Sanjeev Kanchan was found dead at her house in Four Imli area of Bhopal. Police said the Class 11 student died on Tuesday afternoon. Her mother Renuka Kanchan is a judge. Police found a suicide note in which the girl wrote that she loved her parents and was sorry for not being a good daughter. However she did not explain the reason behind her step. Police seized her mobile phone and started an investigation to understand what happened. Chief Secretary Angry Over Illegal Mining Anurag Jain strongly warned district officers over illegal mining in Madhya Pradesh. During a video meeting he questioned why police and administration are unable to stop illegal mining. He asked how some people become bold enough to attack or threaten officials using tractors or bikes. Jain said collectors and police officers must take strict action against owners of vehicles involved in illegal mining. He said law and order should improve and such crimes must stop quickly. Officials were told to act firmly so people fear breaking the law in future. Digvijaya Singh Compares Government to British Rule Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh criticized the state and central governments during a program in Bhopal. After his death angry protesters blocked roads for hours. Congress MLA Babu Jandel joined the protest and demanded action. People kept the body at a road crossing and protested for about four hours. On the Indore–Betul highway a bus tyre reportedly burst due to extreme heat causing concern among travelers. Roads and markets looked empty in the afternoon as people stayed indoors. In districts like Satna Umaria Shajapur and Panna temperatures reached between 43°C and 45°C. Heat also affected hospitals and public places. At a hospital in Chhatarpur fans and water coolers were reportedly not working adding to people’s problems during the hot weather.
