Aslam ‘Chamda’ Re-Arrested Under NSA After Release In Bhopal accused Aslam Qureshi also known as Chamda was released from jail after getting bail from a sessions court. He was in jail for about 70 days in a case linked to suspected cow meat found in a slaughterhouse. However within just 22 hours of his release police arrested him again under the National Security Act (NSA). Minister Vishvas Sarang said strict action will continue against those involved in cow slaughter. The government has made it clear that such accused will not be spared and more strong steps may follow. MP and Rajasthan Strengthen Economic Partnership Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan share a strong relationship like brothers. Speaking at an investment event in Jaipur he highlighted opportunities in textiles manufacturing and organic cotton. He also spoke about the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal river linking project worth ₹1 lakh crore which will help both states grow. The central government will bear 90% of the cost. The CM said both states already share cultural ties and now water resources will further strengthen their bond and boost economic development. Congress MLA’s Win Under Legal Challenge In Rewa Congress MLA Abhay Mishra is facing a legal challenge over his narrow victory of just 637 votes in Semaria seat. The Jabalpur High Court refused to dismiss a petition filed by BJP candidate Krishnapati Tripathi. The court said the allegations appear serious and need proper hearing. The case will now go for trial. This means the MLA’s position may face uncertainty in the coming days depending on the final court decision. Police Use Mild Force During Eid Tension In Shajapur tension was reported during an Eid-related event in Kasera Bazaar. A group protested against the newly appointed city Qazi and raised slogans. The situation became tense as the crowd grew. Police from Kotwali station reached the spot quickly. To control the situation officers used mild force to disperse the crowd. Newborn Declared Dead Shows Signs of Life A shocking incident was reported from Hamidia Hospital. Doctors declared a newborn baby dead after an emergency delivery of a six-month pregnant woman. However after some time the baby reportedly showed signs of movement and heartbeat. This led to anger among family members. A similar case was reported earlier in the same hospital raising serious concerns about medical procedures. Authorities may investigate the matter to understand if there was negligence or error in declaring the baby dead. Cancer Hospital Construction Begins at Bageshwar Dham At Bageshwar Dham construction of a cancer hospital has started. The project is linked to spiritual leader Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. Industrialist Prashant Ruia is supporting the project. The hospital aims to combine “medicine and prayer” for patient care. The foundation work began with religious rituals and prayers. This hospital is expected to provide better treatment facilities for cancer patients in the region and nearby areas. Bhopal Trader Gets Threat from Lawrence Gang In Bhopal a jewelry trader from Kolar Road received threatening calls from foreign numbers. The caller demanded ₹10 crore and claimed to be linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang. The trader was also threatened with death. After the complaint police registered a case and started an investigation. Officials are tracing the calls and trying to identify the accused. Security has been increased and police said strict action will be taken against those involved in the extortion attempt.
