BJP MLA Apologises After Riding Bullet Without Hands BJP MLA Ghanshyam Chandravanshi from Kalapipal in Madhya Pradesh is facing criticism after a video of him riding a Bullet went viral. In the video the MLA is seen riding the bike while taking both hands off the handle and waving them in the air. The video led to criticism from the opposition Congress. After the controversy Chandravanshi released a video message and admitted his mistake. He said he had acted in excitement and apologised to the public without any conditions. The MLA also said people should not repeat such risky behaviour while riding a bike. Rahul Gandhi to Visit Balaghat Again on October 1 Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit Madhya Pradesh’s Balaghat on October 1 amid the deaths of tribal children in the district. He is expected to visit affected areas in Baihar and Birsa and meet the families of the children who died. According to government figures 32 children have died in Balaghat. This will be Gandhi’s second visit to Madhya Pradesh in 13 days. He had earlier visited Indore on September 19 for the ‘Students Ki Goonj’ programme. Before that visit he had raised concerns over illness malnutrition and deaths among tribal children and criticised the government’s response. Agniveers to Get 20% Quota in MP Uniformed Jobs Former Agniveers will get 20% reservation in recruitment to uniformed posts in Madhya Pradesh. The Mohan Yadav Cabinet approved the proposal on Tuesday. The quota will apply to five departments. These include forest guards general constables armed constables in SAF jail guards and excise constables. MSME Minister Chaitanya Kashyap announced the decision after the Cabinet meeting. At present reservation is available for Home Guards and ex-servicemen in such recruitments. The new decision will provide a separate 20% quota for youths who have completed their service as Agniveers in the armed forces. Voting Held for 103 Panchayat Posts in MP Voting was held on Tuesday for 103 posts in Madhya Pradesh as part of the panchayat by-elections. At the same time voting was also conducted for the Nagar Parishad president’s post in Susner Agar-Malwa. This took the total number of posts involved in voting to 104. In Susner BJP fielded Pradeep Soni while Congress nominated Vishnu Patidar. Voting at a polling station in Ward 7 was stopped for around 15 minutes due to an issue related to the EVM. Polling later continued. The elections are being held to fill vacant local body positions across the state. AI Videos of Ujjain Mosque Under Police Scanner AI-generated videos linked to the Ujjain Shahi Masjid controversy are now part of the police investigation. Police said fake videos showed the mosque being completely demolished. However the actual issue involved the removal of only a part of the mosque that came under a road-widening project. The videos and other provocative posts were circulated on social media. After this a large crowd gathered outside the mosque and a clash with police took place. Authorities are now examining the videos and online posts to identify those who created or circulated misleading and provocative content. Congress to Protest Against CEC in MP Congress workers will surround collector offices across Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday to protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The demonstrations will be held at the district level including in Bhopal. Senior Congress leaders from different districts are expected to participate. The party has appealed to its leaders and workers to join the protests in large numbers. Congress has been opposing the Chief Election Commissioner over issues related to the electoral process. The planned demonstrations will take place outside collector offices in different parts of the state. Party workers are expected to raise slogans and submit their demands to the administration. MP Weather: Warm Days Clear Skies in Major Cities Weather conditions in Madhya Pradesh are turning warmer as the monsoon season nears its end. Bhopal is expected to see a maximum temperature of around 32 degrees Celsius while Jabalpur may reach about 31 degrees. Indore could record around 32 degrees and Ujjain is also likely to remain warm. Most major cities are expected to see sunny or mostly clear skies during the day. Indore may see some morning haze before clearer conditions later. The weather department expects temperatures to rise slightly in the coming days as rainfall activity reduces across parts of the state.
