Congress leaders say more than 1.5 lakh students have registered for the event so far. On Wednesday Rahul Gandhi shared a message for students and young people. He asked them to share their problems challenges and suggestions with him. Rahul said he is meeting students in different cities to understand their concerns. As part of this campaign he will meet students in Indore on September 19. He also asked students to share their problems through an online link or by making videos. Police Missing From Outpost During Opposition Leader’s Visit Madhya Pradesh Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar is visiting his Gandhwani Assembly constituency. On Thursday he visited the Keshvi Police Outpost under Amjhera police station in Dhar district. Singhar found that no police personnel were present inside the outpost. He then inspected different rooms and recorded a video of the situation. He questioned the police arrangements after finding the outpost empty. Singhar said the area is important from a security point of view because it is a tribal region. He questioned how people can get immediate police help if no officers are present at the outpost. The incident has raised questions about police arrangements in the area. Justice Kogje Takes Oath as MP High Court Chief Justice Justice Alpesh Yashwant Kogje has taken oath as the new Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. The oath ceremony was held at Lok Bhavan in Bhopal on Thursday. Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Justice Kogje. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav Chief Secretary Ashok Barnwal and other senior officials were present at the ceremony. With his appointment the Madhya Pradesh High Court has got a permanent Chief Justice after nearly three months. Earlier Justice Vivek Rusia was serving as the Acting Chief Justice. Justice Kogje will now take charge of the High Court and handle its judicial and administrative responsibilities. Police and Congress Workers Clash During Rewa Protest Police and Congress workers clashed during a protest in Rewa on Thursday over the death of Kalpana Mishra. Hundreds of Congress workers were moving towards Sirmour Square when an argument broke out with the police. The situation soon turned into pushing and physical clashes between the two sides. Police used tear gas shells to control the situation. Congress leaders alleged that the police stopped their workers from moving ahead. Jhabua MLA and Congress leader Vikrant Bhuria suffered an injury to his eye during the clash. The protest was held demanding action in the Kalpana Mishra death case. Police and local authorities are monitoring the situation after the incident. Hanuman Idol Remains in Middle of Ujjain Road A Hanuman idol standing in the middle of a road in Ujjain has become a major topic of discussion on social media. The administration has been unable to move the idol for the last six days. Officials had started efforts on September 4 to remove the idol near Sati Gate for a road widening project but the effort did not succeed. Most of the area around the temple has been removed during the work while the idol is currently under a tent. The administration now says that no attempt was made to remove the idol. Bhopal Man Donates Organs Saves Four Lives A 53-year-old man from Bhopal Vikas Chaudhary will give a new chance at life to four people through organ donation. Chaudhary suffered a brain haemorrhage six days ago and was admitted to AIIMS Bhopal. Despite continuous treatment his condition did not improve. After doctors declared him brain dead his family decided to donate his organs on Thursday. His organs were sent with full respect to hospitals in Chennai Indore and Bhopal. Vikas lived in the Bagsewania area of Bhopal. He suddenly suffered a brain haemorrhage on September 4 and was taken to AIIMS for treatment. His family’s decision to donate his organs may help four people get a new life. Madhya Pradesh Weather: Rain Likely in Several Areas Madhya Pradesh may see rain and thunderstorms in several parts of the state in the coming days. The weather department has warned of rain and strong winds in parts of Madhya Pradesh. Bhopal Jabalpur Indore and Ujjain may see cloudy weather with light to moderate rain in some areas. The weather is expected to remain humid with temperatures staying around 29 to 32 degrees Celsius in many places. A fresh spell of rain is likely to bring some relief from the heat.
