Farmers Plan Bhopal March Government Begins Talks Thirteen farmer organisations in Madhya Pradesh have announced a march to Bhopal on July 27. They want 100 percent procurement of moong and changes in the e-token system for fertilizer distribution. The farmers plan to surround the Chief Minister’s residence. Before the protest the administration held talks with farmer leaders in Narmadapuram. Collector Somesh Mishra and SP Sai Krishna S. Thota met representatives of the Joint Farmers Front for about 45 minutes. The Collector offered to arrange a meeting between one representative from each organisation and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on July 26 to discuss their demands. MP to Set Up Fast-Track Courts for Exam Cases Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced four fast-track courts for cases related to exams and paper leaks. These courts will be set up in Bhopal Indore Jabalpur and Gwalior. The Chief Minister said such cases will be decided within three months to give quick justice to students and young people. He said the state government is committed to improving education and protecting students’ interests. Dr. Yadav also said Madhya Pradesh is always among the first states to implement major decisions taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the benefit of the people. Students Celebrate Dharmendra Pradhan’s Resignation Students in Indore celebrated after reports of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. The students had been protesting for 25 days over the exam paper leak issue. They gathered at Tantya Bhil Square and shared sweets to celebrate what they called a victory for students. The protesters said their voices had finally been heard after weeks of demonstrations. Following the celebration they announced that they were ending their protest. The students expressed hope that stronger steps would now be taken to improve the examination system and prevent paper leaks in the future. Five Friends Die After Car Falls into Pond A tragic road accident took place in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh district on Saturday. A speeding car lost control near Bhilkhedi Junction while travelling towards Shujalpur and fell into a roadside pond. All five people travelling in the car died at the scene. Local villagers police and rescue teams quickly reached the accident spot after receiving information. The car had completely sunk in the water and was pulled out with the help of a crane. Police have started an investigation to find out the exact cause of the accident. Heavy Rain Alert Across 35 MP Districts The India Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for 35 districts of Madhya Pradesh including Bhopal and Indore. Weather experts say the southwest monsoon is fully active across the state. Moisture from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal is continuously reaching Madhya Pradesh. The monsoon trough is also passing through the state increasing the chances of widespread rainfall. According to weather expert Shailendra Kumar Nayak humidity levels are between 80 and 95 percent. Heavy rain is expected in many areas and people have been advised to stay alert and follow weather updates.
