Minister Pratima Bagri Gets Notice in Caste Certificate Case Madhya Pradesh Minister Pratima Bagri has received a notice from the State Level Caste Verification Committee. She has been asked to appear before the committee on July 6. The committee has directed her to submit documents proving that her family was living in Satna Madhya Pradesh in 1950. She also has to provide evidence that she belongs to the Bagri Scheduled Caste community. The case is related to the verification of her caste certificate. The committee will examine all documents before taking any decision. The matter has now become an important political and legal issue in the state. Congress Says Party United Against Corruption The Madhya Pradesh Congress held a virtual meeting of its Political Affairs Committee. During the meeting leaders strongly objected to comments made by senior leader Digvijaya Singh about state Congress chief Jitu Patwari. Some leaders said such statements could damage the partys image before the public. After the meeting Digvijaya Singh clarified that there is no dispute between him and Jitu Patwari. He said Congress is united against corruption. He also explained that the word Dalal was not used for any Congress leader but for a journalist named Bhupendra Dalal whose surname caused the misunderstanding. MP Govt Starts Promotion Process for Employees The Madhya Pradesh government has started preparations to resume the promotion process for government employees after nearly ten years. The General Administration Department has sent instructions to all departments senior officers and district collectors to begin the process. The decision follows legal advice received from the Advocate General regarding the Promotion Rules 2025. Although some court cases are still pending departments have been asked to move ahead according to the legal opinion. This decision is expected to benefit lakhs of government employees who have been waiting for promotions for many years. Seven Minors Held for Alleged Bad Touch of 7-Year-Old Girl A disturbing case has been reported from Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh. Police have rounded up seven boys aged between 9 and 11 years for allegedly behaving inappropriately with a seven-year-old girl. According to police the incident happened during a local social function. The girl was reportedly taken behind a nearby building after being persuaded by the children. Her family later informed the police and an investigation was started. Officers are questioning the minors and following legal procedures under the Juvenile Justice Act. Further investigation into the case is continuing. Congress Leader Questioned in ₹500 Crore Land Dispute Police in Indore questioned Congress leader and businessman Pankaj Sanghvi in connection with a land dispute worth around ₹500 crore. The case involves about 17 acres of land in the Kanadia area. Sanghvi is associated with Sanyam Infra. His nephew and business partner Pratik Sanghvi was also called to the police station for questioning. Police are investigating documents and ownership claims related to the disputed property. Pankaj Sanghvi has previously contested Assembly and Lok Sabha elections on a Congress ticket. Officials said the investigation is still in progress. Dhirendra Shastri Reacts to Ram Temple Donation Theft Case Spiritual leader Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has reacted to the recent Ram Temple donation theft controversy. Speaking in Bhopal he said the incident has deeply hurt the faith of millions of devotees and followers of Sanatan traditions. He described the matter as not only a temple issue but also one connected to the honour and trust of the entire Sanatan community. Shastri said those responsible for such an act while staying in Lord Rams temple would face severe punishment. His remarks came as the controversy continues to attract public attention. Lightning Kills Three People Four Injured in MP Heavy rain and thunderstorms have affected several parts of Madhya Pradesh as the monsoon becomes active. In Harda district a 32-year-old farmer Pradeep Rathore died after being struck by lightning while working outdoors. In Khargone two more people Radheshyam and Kenu also lost their lives due to lightning strikes. In Betul district four members of a family suffered burn injuries after lightning hit near them. The injured include Sukhdev Yadav his wife Geetabai daughter Sandhya and son Naitik. Authorities have advised people to stay indoors during thunderstorms and avoid open fields.
