Raisen Heartbreak: Three Friends Die in Well During Water Shortage Three tribal schoolgirls died after drowning in a well in a village of Raisen district during a serious drinking water crisis. In Sagaur village people have been facing water shortages for a long time and must walk nearly one kilometer to collect water from a well. On Saturday morning four girls went there to fetch water. While bathing one girl reportedly slipped and fell into the deep water. Two other girls jumped in to save her but all three drowned. The incident has raised concern about water shortages and safety in villages during extreme summer heat.
