MP Introduces Digital Farming Monitoring System In Madhya Pradesh the government is set to introduce a digital system to monitor farming and natural disasters. Automatic rain gauges will be installed in all village panchayats while weather stations will be set up at tehsil level. This system will provide weather and rainfall updates every 15 minutes on an online portal. Farmers will get accurate and timely information helping them plan their crops better. Officials will also be able to track drought and heavy rainfall in real time. The move aims to reduce crop losses and improve disaster management across the state. Six Policemen Suspended in Gwalior Assault Case At Gwalior Railway Station two food vendors accused GRP policemen of assault during a dispute on a train. The matter came to light after the vendors reported the incident to senior officials. Additional SP Neetu Dabar visited Gwalior to investigate the case. After inquiry strict action was taken. Tragic Road Accident in Badwah Claims Lives of Two Sisters In Badwah a heartbreaking road accident took place on Narmada Road near Dada Darbar. A speeding Eicher truck hit two bikes carrying families. In the accident two young sisters died painfully in front of their father. Witnesses said the girls were dragged along with the truck’s tyre for some distance. Other family members were seriously injured and rushed to hospital. The father tried to save his daughters but failed. Police reached the spot and started an investigation. The incident has created anger among locals demanding strict action against rash driving. Youth Dies After Jumping into River During Mining Raid In Jabalpur a युवक died after jumping into the Narmada River during a mining raid on Monday afternoon. The incident happened around 2 PM at Khiraini sand ghat in Barela police area. Officials had reached the spot to take action against illegal sand mining. Seeing the team the युवक got scared and jumped into the river. He drowned and died. His 4–5 companions managed to escape from the spot. Family members alleged that strict action is taken only on small carriers while big mining mafia continue freely. Police have started investigation into the case. Heatwave Continues in Madhya Pradesh Temperature Crosses 44°C Many parts of Madhya Pradesh are facing very hot weather. Some cities like Bhopal Raisen and Betul saw clouds in the sky. Light rain was also reported in Ratlam and Khargone giving slight relief from heat. However heatwave conditions are still strong in many areas. The highest temperature was recorded in Naugaon at 44.3°C. In Jabalpur the temperature reached 42.5°C breaking a 3-year April record. Places like Niwari Chhatarpur and Tikamgarh are also under heatwave. People are facing problems due to high temperature and hot winds.
