BJP MP Opposes Teacher Exam Decision in Madhya Pradesh In Madhya Pradesh BJP MP Darshan Singh Choudhary has opposed a decision of the state government led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. The School Education Department has ordered that teachers with more than 25 years of service must take a competency test. If they fail they may face compulsory retirement. The MP has written a letter to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan asking the central government to file a review petition in the Supreme Court of India. He said the future of more than 1.5 lakh teachers is at risk and the government should protect experienced teachers. Protest in Raisen Over Cannon Firing Video A protest was held in Raisen demanding the closure of a cannon at the historic Raisen Fort. Members of the Sakal Hindu Samaj organized a silent march from Ramlila Ground to the tehsil office. They submitted a memorandum to officials addressed to the Chief Minister. The protest started after a video went viral on Instagram. In the video some youths were seen shouting slogans in support of Iran near the working cannon on March 7. The group demanded immediate action and asked authorities to stop the cannon firing. ED Arrests Dairy Export Company Director The Enforcement Directorate in Bhopal has arrested Kishan Modi director of Jai Shri Gayatri Food Products. According to officials the company used fake reports in the export of dairy products. Investigators found that about ₹20.59 crore was earned through suspicious export transactions. The money has been treated as “proceeds of crime” under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Modi has been sent on remand till March 18. Earlier the agency had also searched his house. The case became high-profile after his wife reportedly consumed poison during the investigation. Explosion Outside Jabalpur District Court Panic spread outside the district court in Jabalpur after a loud explosion was heard near Court Number 2 on Monday evening. Lawyers and people present in the court complex rushed out after hearing the blast. Police from Omti Police Station quickly reached the spot and started an investigation. Fortunately no one was injured in the incident. Police recovered bomb remnants and a matchbox from the scene. Authorities are now checking CCTV footage and questioning witnesses to find out who was behind the explosion. Tricycle Given to Disabled Man Breaks Within 500 Meters A shocking case of alleged corruption has come from Guna during the visit of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. A disabled man named Ramratan Ojha requested help during a public hearing at the circuit house. The minister immediately directed the Social Justice Department to provide him a tricycle. The man received the tricycle on the spot and left happily. However after travelling only about 500 meters the wheel bent and came out with the rim. The incident has raised serious questions about the quality of equipment and possible corruption in the department. MP IAS Officers Appointed for Election Duty Around 50 IAS officers from Madhya Pradesh have been appointed as election observers for upcoming assembly elections in five regions. These include West Bengal Assam Kerala Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The officers had already completed special training in February under the supervision of the Election Commission of India. Officials from secretary additional secretary and deputy secretary levels will monitor the election process. Among them is Saket Malviya the collector of Ashoknagar who will also serve as an observer during the elections. Heat Increases in Madhya Pradesh Rain Possible Later In Madhya Pradesh the weather is becoming hotter as summer begins. Many cities like Bhopal Indore and Jabalpur are experiencing strong sunlight and rising temperatures. According to the India Meteorological Department the daytime temperature in several cities is around 35 to 36 degrees Celsius which is higher than normal for March. Nights are also becoming warmer in many districts. However weather experts say some areas in northern districts may see clouds strong winds or light rain in the coming days. This may bring a little relief from the heat. People are advised to stay hydrated and avoid going out in strong afternoon sunlight.
