CM Yadav Inaugurates Development Works Worth ₹129 Crore in Ujjain Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 12 development projects worth around ₹129 crore in Ujjain. The event was held at Nanakheda Stadium. The CM also launched three youth-focused initiatives aimed at skill development and digital empowerment. One of the key projects was “Project Swadhyay – Coding for All” which introduces coding and digital thinking to students at an early age. He said such projects will strengthen education innovation and employment prospects for youth in the region. IAS Officer Slaps Youth at Narmada Ghat Video Sparks Outrage A controversy has erupted in Narsinghpur after a video showed District Panchayat CEO and IAS officer Gajendra Nagesh slapping a youth at the Narmada riverbank. The incident occurred at Barman sand ghat when the officer allegedly saw the youth urinating near the river. Instead of taking legal action the officer allegedly used abusive language and slapped the youth. He also reportedly threatened a priest who tried to intervene. The video surfaced on Monday and triggered public anger. People have demanded action against the officer saying such behavior is unacceptable from a senior administrative official. Administration Demolishes ‘Satta King’ Hotel in Ashoknagar The Ashoknagar district administration demolished a three-storey hotel belonging to alleged satta king Azad Khan. The action was taken on Monday afternoon when a team of municipal officials and police reached Azad Palace Hotel. JCB machines were used to demolish the front and rear portions of the building. Officials said the hotel violated construction rules and norms. Before demolition officers inspected all rooms on each floor. The operation was carried out amid tight security. Tiger Enters House in Umaria Village Sits on Bed Panic spread in Beldhi village near Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in Umaria after a tiger entered a house on Monday morning. The big cat attacked a villager and later sat calmly on a bed inside the house. Villagers climbed rooftops to watch the scene increasing tension in the area. Forest officials from the Panpatha buffer zone rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation. After nearly eight hours of effort the tiger was safely controlled. Rare Owl Species Rescued in Betul Experts Surprised Forest department officials rescued a rare species of owl in injured condition from Betul’s Green City area. Wildlife experts said the owl is a migratory species and is rarely seen in this region. The bird is commonly found in Australia and New Guinea and is known as one of the smallest owl species. Its presence in Betul has surprised experts and bird lovers alike. The owl is currently under medical care and will be released into a safe habitat after recovery. Officials said the discovery highlights the importance of conserving urban green spaces and wildlife corridors. Cold Wave Grips Madhya Pradesh Nights Remain Chilly Madhya Pradesh continues to face cold weather conditions as temperatures remain low across many districts. Night temperatures in several parts of the state have dropped further causing chilly mornings. Cities like Bhopal Indore Gwalior and Jabalpur experienced cold winds and fog during early hours. In some northern and eastern districts minimum temperatures stayed below normal levels. Weather experts said there is no major change expected in the next 24 hours.
