He was caught for alleged involvement in a ganja smuggling racket. Police seized about 46 kilograms of ganja from Anil and one of his associates during the operation. Anil was seen covering his face while being taken into custody. Police sources reveal that five days earlier his brother-in-law had also been arrested in the same case. Cabinet Meeting in Khajuraho: CM Praises Food Department Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a cabinet meeting in Khajuraho at the Maharaja Chhatrasal Convention Centre. Thousands of farmers blocked National Highway-39 near Bamitha police station causing heavy disruption to traffic including vehicles of ministers heading to Khajuraho for review meetings. Farmers said they had been waiting in long queues through the night but still did not get fertiliser. The district administration sent senior officials to negotiate and urged the farmers to maintain peace. However the protesters demanded an immediate increase in fertiliser supply. Tikamgarh Fertiliser Crisis: Farmer Dies While Waiting in Queue In Tikamgarh the ongoing fertiliser crisis turned tragic when a 50-year-old farmer Jamuna Kushwaha from Kari Bajraua village died after collapsing while waiting in a long queue for urea. He had been visiting distribution centres for three days due to acute shortage. On Monday morning while standing at the Badora Ghat centre he experienced dizziness and vomiting. People took him to a hospital but he died during treatment. The incident sparked anger among farmers who blamed poor distribution systems for the death. The tragedy has intensified demands for immediate government action to resolve the fertiliser crisis. Sagar Shock: Woman BLO Dies After Heart Attack Linked to Workload A woman Booth Level Officer (BLO) Laxmi Jaroliya died in Sagar while undergoing treatment. She was also a primary school teacher. Her son alleged that she had been working until midnight continuously for SIR (voter-list revision) duties which caused extreme mental stress. She had suffered a heart attack ten days earlier and her condition deteriorated again due to workload pressure. Locals say similar incidents have happened before and nearly eight BLO staff in the district have reportedly died due to stress-related issues. The case has raised serious concerns about workload and staff safety in election-related duties. Jitu Patwari Alleges Massive Malnutrition and Mid-Day Meal Scam Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari has levelled major allegations against the government over malnutrition and corruption in the mid-day meal scheme. Speaking at a press conference he said 50 lakh children in the state have never seen milk cashews or apples. He claimed only ₹12 is spent per child’s meal while ₹40 is spent on a cow. Patwari alleged a massive annual scam worth ₹20000 crore and demanded a CBI investigation. He also said nearly 10000 government schools do not even have a principal. His statements have triggered a political storm and renewed debates on nutrition policies. Deputy CM Shukla Hits Back: “Congress Only Makes Baseless Accusations” Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla strongly countered Jitu Patwari’s allegations about corruption in the mid-day meal scheme. Shukla cited official numbers showing that the maternal mortality rate has fallen from 175 to 142 and infant mortality has also decreased. After Conversion Shubham Goswami Returns to Hinduism in Bhopal In Bhopal’s Jahangirabad area Shubham Goswami who had converted to Islam for a relationship has now returned to Hinduism after ending the relationship. At the Gufa Temple rituals including havan mundan and purification were performed in the presence of Minister Vishvas Sarang. Shubham claimed he was forced to adopt the name Aman Khan and follow Islamic customs. After he complained police registered a case and arrested three accused. Indore: Celebratory Firing at BJYM President’s Wedding Goes Viral In Indore a video of celebratory firing during the wedding procession of BJYM city president Saugat Mishra went viral on social media.
