Big Uproar in MP Assembly Today The second day of the Madhya Pradesh winter session saw loud protests and chaos in the Assembly. Congress MLAs arrived holding boards that showed damaged crops saying farmers are suffering due to heavy rainfall no proper rates and delayed compensation. Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar accused the government of ignoring farmers. During the debate Agriculture Minister Edal Singh Kansana suddenly felt dizzy and fainted. Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said the change strengthens democracy but the Opposition said it will only promote ticket trading and horse-trading in future. MP Government Presents Second Supplementary Budget In the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Finance Minister Jagdish Deora presented the second supplementary budget. The total amount of this extra budget is ₹13476 crore and 94 lakh. The government said this additional financial support will help meet important development needs. Discussion on the budget will take place on December 4 for almost three and a half hours. The Opposition is expected to question spending plans while the government claims the supplementary budget will boost ongoing schemes. Labourer in Katni Attempts Self-Immolation A shocking incident occurred during a public hearing at the Katni Collectorate. A labourer named Bharat Patel poured petrol on himself and tried to set himself on fire. People standing nearby quickly caught him and stopped the attempt. The incident happened right outside the Collector’s cabin and the video has also gone viral. Bharat Patel said he came to the Collector many times with his medical complaints but only received advice to visit the district hospital again. He alleged that police are supporting the accused in his case instead of taking action. The police reached the spot and are now investigating the full matter. Bhopal MP Files Complaint Against IAS Officer Bhopal MP Alok Sharma has officially filed a complaint with the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) against IAS officer Santosh Verma. In his letter the MP has demanded that the officer be removed from his post. The complaint comes after a controversial remark allegedly made by the IAS officer which sparked anger in the Brahmin community. Community representatives submitted a memorandum to the MP asking for strict action. The central ministry is now examining the complaint and will decide further action. The issue has triggered political debate in the state’s capital. Massive Fire in Jabalpur Cloth Factory A major fire broke out at a four-storey cloth factory in Jabalpur’s Lordganj area. Around 24 fire engines were sent to the spot but the flames are still not fully under control. Police and municipal teams are working together to prevent the fire from spreading further. Early estimates suggest a loss of around 1 to 2 crore rupees. The factory is operated by the Classic showroom owned by Tarun Jain. The exact cause of the fire is still unknown. Locals gathered in large numbers as smoke covered the area and authorities are ensuring that no one remains trapped inside. Five-Year-Old Hit by Car in Gwalior A heartbreaking accident took place in Gwalior’s Wanagar area near Kumud Apartments. A five-year-old boy named Kiyan was playing near a shop when a young man driving a car ran over him. The CCTV video shows the driver Mohit Tomar moving the car forward and backward carelessly. Suddenly Kiyan came under the car and the tyre passed over him. The child received serious injuries on his legs face and other body parts. His grandmother Poonam and a local youth rushed to save him. Police have filed a case based on the video and begun investigation. Cold Wave to Hit Madhya Pradesh Mercury May Drop to 3°C Weather officials say Madhya Pradesh will face a strong cold wave starting December 5 or 6. Due to a western disturbance snowfall in the mountains will bring icy winds into the state. Minimum temperatures may drop by another 2 to 3 degrees. Cities like Bhopal Indore Gwalior Jabalpur and Pachmarhi are already experiencing very cold nights. Pachmarhi recorded a low of 6.8°C. Meteorologists warn that the chill will continue till February. People are advised to take precautions as the cold wave intensifies and temperatures move closer to 3°C in several areas.
