200 Tamil Nadu Farmers Stopped in MP Around 200 farmers from Tamil Nadu were removed from a train at Narmadapuram railway station on Tuesday evening. They were traveling from Chennai to New Delhi to hold a protest. Farmers said the police forced them to get down from the train which led to chaos on the platform. Some farmers even protested half-naked and shouted slogans. Security forces from more than six districts were called in to control the situation. Another group of farmers coming in Tamil Nadu Express was stopped at Itarsi station. Heavy police deployment delayed several trains causing problems for passengers traveling toward Bhopal. PM to Transfer PM-Kisan Money to 8.2 Million Farmers Tomorrow Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer the next installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi on Wednesday at 1:30 PM. Under this scheme ₹18000 crore will reach the bank accounts of nine crore farmers across India. In Madhya Pradesh alone about 82 lakh farmers will receive the amount. The PM will also address the farming community during the event. The government has announced that this day will be celebrated as “PM Kisan Utsav Diwas.” The scheme aims to give financial support to farmers and help them with their agricultural expenses. MP Cabinet Clears AYUSH Hospitals and ₹100 Crore for Social Impact Bond The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet has approved the construction of AYUSH hospitals in 12 districts each with 50 beds and one 30-bed hospital in Barwani. New posts have been created for running the upcoming Barwani University with 373 staff positions sanctioned. Along with this 806 on-call human resource services have also been approved under the National AYUSH Mission. These steps aim to improve traditional medicine services in the state. The Cabinet has also lifted the ban on new recruitments in the Science and Technology Council by approving updated rules. A ₹100-crore provision has been made for the Social Impact Bond scheme. MP Govt Withdraws Land Pooling Plan; Ujjain Farmers Celebrate The state government has withdrawn the land pooling plan that was introduced for Simhastha 2028. The decision came late Monday night after a two-hour meeting between Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and leaders of the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh. Farmers in Ujjain celebrated the announcement with firecrackers drum beats and dancing. They took soil from the Simhastha land and offered it at the temple of the Land Goddess before gathering at the collector’s office to continue celebrations. However the Congress raised questions asking why the government earlier supported the plan in the Assembly but suddenly changed its decision now. Seoni Hawala Case: Balaghat DSP Among 4 Arrested In the Seoni hawala loot case involving ₹3 crore the Jabalpur Crime Branch arrested four people on Tuesday. Those arrested include Balaghat DSP Pankaj Mishra Cyber Cell constable Pramod Soni and two civilians—Panjoo Giri Goswami and Virendra Dixit. They have been taken into two-day police custody. Earlier Seoni SDOP Pooja Pandey and ten other policemen were already jailed in connection with the case. Pooja Pandey is currently lodged in Rewa Jail while the remaining officers are in Narsinghpur Jail. New evidence found during the investigation led to the fresh arrests. Woman Gives Birth in Open Area at Bhind Hospital A serious case of negligence came to light at the Bhind District Hospital on Tuesday. A pregnant woman from Mora village in Ater waited for admission to the labor room but the delay caused her to deliver the baby in the open area inside the hospital premises. As her labor pain increased a woman social worker and other women created a curtain using cloths and helped her deliver safely. Later the mother and newborn were moved to the ward. Families and locals are angry over the hospital’s slow response and lack of emergency care. Man Falls Into Drain While Running From Police in Jhabua A young man was injured on Tuesday evening in Jhabua near Ramkula drain during a routine police checking drive. Police were questioning him about a bike that had no number plate. Suddenly the man panicked and tried to run away. While escaping he fell into a deep drain and suffered a serious head injury. The incident happened around 4 PM. Police said they were checking unregistered vehicles as part of regular inspection. The injured youth was taken to the hospital for treatment. Extreme Cold: Temperature in MP to Drop Below 5°C Cold winds from the north have brought severe winter conditions to Madhya Pradesh. Cities like Bhopal and Indore recorded very low temperatures with Bhopal experiencing the coldest November night in its history. The Weather Department has issued a cold wave alert for the next two days for nearly half of the state. Many districts may see temperatures falling below 5°C. People are being advised to stay warm especially during morning and night hours. The biting cold has already affected daily life and early-morning fog is expected in several regions.
