📰 1. Uma Bharti to Contest 2029 From Jhansi Former Chief Minister Uma Bharti said she will contest the 2029 Lok Sabha elections from Jhansi. She clearly said “If I contest it will be from Jhansi only.” Uma Bharti is a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She has been Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh in the past. She said she wishes to return to active politics through the 2029 elections. However she will only contest if her party allows. She said she will not say no to the party’s decision. Villagers Lie Down Cows Walk Over Them In Ujjain Madhya Pradesh villagers took part in a traditional ritual called “Gau Gohri Pujan.” During this ritual people decorate and worship cows. After the puja villagers lie down on the ground and cows walk over them. This may look dangerous but people believe it brings good luck happiness and peace. The ritual is performed every year during Diwali. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also joined the event and picked up a calf in his arms. In Bhopal the mayor worshipped cows and thanked cow protectors. The event showed a deep connection between faith animals and tradition. --- 📰 3. Lady Health Officer Dies by Suicide in Narmada River A tragic incident happened in Barwani Madhya Pradesh. A female health officer named Angurbala Lonkhede jumped from a 301-foot high bridge into the Narmada River. She worked as a Community Health Officer in Borali village. Her husband said she was upset because she wanted a mangalsutra and he told her they would buy it later. Angry and emotional she left home rode her scooter to the bridge and jumped. Soybean Sales Under CCTV Watch in Mandis The Madhya Pradesh government has started a new system for soybean sales. From October 24 2025 to January 15 2026 soybean will be sold under the Bhavantar scheme. To keep things safe and fair CCTV cameras will be installed at mandi gates and inside the market yards. Farmers will also find help desks in every mandi to solve problems and provide information. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave these instructions in a review meeting. Garbage Thrown Inside BJP Leader’s Home A strange event happened in Harpalpur Madhya Pradesh. The city’s Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) Shailendra Singh visited for Diwali cleanliness inspection. He saw garbage lying outside BJP leader Mahesh Rai’s house. The CMO got angry and ordered staff to pick up the trash and throw it inside the house. A video of this incident went viral. Rain and Thunderstorms in South Madhya Pradesh Southern Madhya Pradesh is experiencing unexpected weather. On Diwali night Jabalpur saw heavy rain. Later many cities including Bhopal had cloudy skies and light rain. The weather department said this system will stay active until October 25. They have issued alerts for 15 districts including Indore Alirajpur Dhar Barwani Khandwa Burhanpur and more. People are advised to be careful while traveling. Farmers are also worried as sudden rain can damage crops. The sky will stay cloudy and lightning with thunder is expected. Authorities are monitoring the situation.
