In a major initiative by Madhya Pradesh government people who help injured accident victims by rushing them to the hospital will now be rewarded with ₹25000 under the Rahyveer Yojana. Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya announced this after a cabinet meeting at Rajwadain Indore. He clarified that the person must call an ambulance and assist the injured. The collector will also be notified by police about those who help. This move aims to encourage public participation in emergency rescue operations. SIT Formed to Probe Minister Shahs Remarks against Army officer A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been constituted to probe Madhya Pradesh Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah’s controversial remarks against Indian Army officer Colonel Sofia Qureshi. The move follows Supreme Court directions issued on Monday. Acting swiftly DGP Kailash Makwana formed a three-member SIT late Monday night. The team includes IG Sagar Zone Pramod Verma DIG Kalyan Chakravarti and SP (SAF) Vahini Singh from Dindori. These senior IPS officers will lead the investigation into the case that has stirred public outrage and demands for accountability from a sitting minister. Justice Raman alleges ‘malicious’ transfer In a dramatic farewell speech Justice Duppala Venkata Raman of the Madhya Pradesh High Court (Indore bench) claimed his 2023 transfer from Andhra Pradesh was done with malicious intent to harass him. Scheduled to retire on June 2 Justice Raman expressed disappointment that even the Supreme Court did not heed his plea despite his wife’s deteriorating health. He said that his transfer caused personal and professional hardship questioning the motive behind the decision.
