He personally reached the house of victim Neetu Soni to express condolences. Emotional scenes were seen as family members broke down in tears. Villagers complained about severe water shortage and illegal land encroachments. After hearing the complaints the Collector directly questioned officials and found negligence. He ordered the suspension of a Public Health Engineering sub-engineer and two patwaris on the spot. The Collector clearly told the engineer “You are suspended go home.” This strict step has sent a strong message about accountability. Locals appreciated the quick response and hope for faster solutions to their problems. Congress leader Bharat Pandey arrested in forest attack case Congress leader Bharat Milan Pandey has been arrested from Jabalpur in connection with a serious case from Panna district. He is accused of attacking a forest department team and obstructing government work. Reports say he was involved in a physical fight with forest officials and even looted a tractor during the incident. Police took him into custody on Thursday and further investigation is ongoing. This incident has raised concerns over law and order especially regarding attacks on government officials. Authorities say strict legal action will be taken in the matter. Storm warning for Jabalpur and Katni heat continues in MP Mixed weather conditions are being seen across Madhya Pradesh. While some districts experienced light rain heat remains intense in many areas. Weather department has issued a storm alert for Jabalpur and Katni. Cities like Khandwa recorded the highest temperature at 43.1°C followed by Narsinghpur at 42.2°C and Ratlam at 41.2°C. Other districts like Tikamgarh Betul and Guna also reported temperatures above 40°C. Light rainfall was seen in Jabalpur and Damoh giving slight relief. Officials have advised people to stay alert due to sudden weather changes including storms and heatwaves and take necessary precautions.
