VHP and Bajrang Dal Protest Against Rahul Gandhi A protest was held in Bhopal against the Oppositions demonstration in Parliament over the Ram Temple issue. Members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal gathered on Link Road. Some protesters raised slogans against Rahul Gandhi. They smeared cow dung on his effigy and later set it on fire as a mark of protest. Police stopped the protesters when they tried to cross barricades. Security was increased to prevent any disturbance. The situation remained under control and no major violence was reported. The protest ended peacefully after police managed the crowd and restored normal movement in the area. --- Jabalpur Begins Plantation of 1.1 Million Trees A huge tree plantation drive has started at Dumna Nature Park in Jabalpur. The campaign is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modis nationwide mission to plant 250 million trees. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav launched the programme. Around 1.1 million saplings will be planted on 100 acres using the Miyawaki method which helps forests grow quickly. The Chief Minister said the project will improve greenery protect wildlife and reduce pollution. Many officials volunteers and local people joined the event. The government hopes this campaign will encourage more people to plant and protect trees. --- Teacher Arrested After CJP Protest A government school teacher from Katni has been arrested after joining a protest under the Cockroach Janata Party or CJP. He had spoken against cheating and corruption in schools. Police arrested him on charges of attacking the acting principal and a woman teacher. The Education Department has also suspended him from his job. After his arrest the teacher showed injuries on his body to reporters. He claimed he was punished for exposing problems in the education system. Police are investigating the case and say legal action will continue according to the law. The matter remains under investigation.
