BJP Replaces Narottam Mishra with Ashutosh Tiwari for Datia Bypoll The Bharatiya Janata Party has named Ashutosh Tiwari as its candidate for the Datia Assembly by-election leaving out former Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra. Mishra had lost the last Assembly election and was preparing for the bypoll by holding public meetings and meeting local people. He had even purchased his nomination form and many expected him to file his nomination on Friday. The BJP announced Ashutosh Tiwaris name soon after the Delhi High Court refused to stay the conviction of Rajendra Bharti. Tiwari is a senior BJP leader who has served as the partys divisional organisation minister and former Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Housing Board. MP Government Assures Support for Guest Faculty Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has assured guest faculty members that the state government will take all possible steps for their welfare. Addressing the State-Level Guest Faculty Conference at Ravindra Bhavan in Bhopal he said a high-level committee has been formed to study all the demands of guest teachers. The committee has not yet submitted its recommendations. The Chief Minister said the government will take appropriate decisions after receiving the report. He praised the dedication and hard work of guest faculty members serving in higher and technical education institutions. During the event the guest faculty welcomed Dr. Yadav by presenting him with a traditional shawl and a Tulsi plant. Vijayvargiya Welcomes Digvijayas Ayodhya Foot March Madhya Pradesh Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya has welcomed senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singhs Ayodhya foot march. He said that if an 80-year-old leader is walking on a religious journey it should be appreciated. Vijayvargiya described Digvijaya Singh as an intelligent and active politician. He also said young Congress leaders should learn from his dedication and commitment. Taking a light-hearted dig at some politicians he said many leaders are busy making social media reels while Digvijaya Singh is walking long distances to stay connected with people. He added that such efforts inspire young politicians. Alleged ₹50 Crore Scam in Mauganj Cow Shelters A complaint has alleged a scam of nearly ₹50 crore in the operation of cow shelters in Madhya Pradeshs Mauganj district. According to the complaint fake records were prepared to show a higher number of cows and receive large government grants. Questions have been raised about the role of former Animal Husbandry Deputy Director J.L. Saket some shelter operators and middlemen. An RTI reply reportedly shows a big difference between the number of cows recorded on the government portal and the actual number found on the ground. Officials have not yet issued a detailed response to the allegations. Former BJP Leader Says Viral Video is Fake A video of former BJP district vice-president Anil Pandey from Niwari has gone viral on social media. In the video he is seen making controversial remarks about the future of the district. After the video spread online Anil Pandey denied the claims and said the clip was fake and edited. He accused his political opponents of trying to damage his public image by spreading false content. The viral video has created political discussion in the district. However the authenticity of the video has not been officially confirmed and no official investigation has been announced yet. Heated Argument During Meeting Over Master Plan A meeting of the District Development Coordination Committee at the Bhopal Collectorate turned tense on Friday over the delay in implementing the city master plan. Congress MLAs Arif Masood and Atif Aqueel had a heated exchange with Fanda Janpad Panchayat President Pramod Singh Rajput. The argument became louder as both sides pointed fingers at each other during the discussion. Pramod Singh Rajput reportedly told the MLAs to remain within their limits while speaking. Heavy Rain Likely in Many Parts of Madhya Pradesh Many parts of Madhya Pradesh are expected to receive light to moderate rain over the next 24 hours. The India Meteorological Department has issued weather alerts for several districts. Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places while thunderstorms lightning and strong winds of up to 40 to 50 kilometres per hour may also occur. Districts such as Bhopal Raisen Sehore Sagar Jabalpur Vidisha Datni Guna Shivpuri and Narsinghpur may receive rain. People have been advised to stay indoors during thunderstorms avoid open fields and trees and follow official weather warnings. The rain is expected to bring relief from hot and humid conditions in many areas.
