Big Relief for Farmers: ₹1634 Crore to Reach 81 Lakh Farmers on June 20 Good news for farmers in Madhya Pradesh. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that the 23rd installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme will be released on June 20. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer the amount from Tarakeswar in West Bengal’s Hooghly district. More than 81.67 lakh farmers in Madhya Pradesh will receive over ₹1634 crore directly into their bank accounts. The financial support comes just before the Kharif sowing season and is expected to help farmers buy seeds fertilizers and other farming essentials. President Murmu Attends Tribal Spiritual Gathering President Droupadi Murmu attended a major tribal conference organized by the Brahma Kumaris in Betul Madhya Pradesh. Addressing the gathering she said that the journey towards a developed India should be based on spirituality social harmony and environmental protection. The President highlighted the importance of spiritual education in bringing peace balance and hope into people’s lives. She said that positive social change becomes possible when individuals develop strong values and inner strength. CM Mohan Yadav Focuses on Water Education and IT Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited Indore and reviewed several important development projects. He inspected the restoration work at Limbodi Lake under the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign and emphasized water conservation. The Chief Minister also visited a government girls’ school interacted with students and viewed its astronomy laboratory. During his tour he inspected the under-construction IT Park-3 and shared plans to make Madhya Pradesh a major IT destination. He also reviewed heritage conservation projects including a historic stepwell and paid tribute to freedom fighter Rani Lakshmibai. Congress Leader’s Remarks Spark Controversy A controversy has erupted after a Congress women’s wing protest outside the Collectorate over the rejection of Congress leader Meenakshi Natarajan’s Rajya Sabha nomination papers. During the demonstration Congress leader Shashi Hada allegedly used offensive language against police personnel after officers stopped protesters from moving forward. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media drawing criticism from political opponents. Storms and Rain Hit 32 Districts Across MP Pre-monsoon activity continues across Madhya Pradesh bringing rain thunderstorms and strong winds to many districts. Heavy rain was reported in Pithampur in Dhar district while weather disturbances affected 32 districts during the past 24 hours. Strong winds and dust storms were recorded in areas including Vidisha Burhanpur and Sheopur. The changing weather has provided relief from intense summer heat in several regions. Meteorologists say pre-monsoon conditions remain active and more rain is likely in the coming days. Residents have been advised to remain cautious during thunderstorms and strong wind conditions across the state.
