Officers from Arera Hills Police Station recovered 20 cars valued at around ₹3 crore. According to investigators the accused rented vehicles from travel agencies and then falsely claimed ownership before selling them to unsuspecting buyers. Police said the operation was carried out in coordination with several travel companies. The recovered vehicles have been seized as evidence.
