MP Bookie Satish Sanpal Web Series Faces Controversy A web series called Desi Bling on Netflix has started a major controversy in Madhya Pradesh. The series is said to be based on alleged bookie Satish Sanpal who is reportedly wanted in several cases in Jabalpur. A complaint was filed with the National Human Rights Commission saying the show glorifies crime and illegal activities. The complainant said the series presents Sanpal as a rich businessman with a luxury lifestyle which may influence young people in the wrong way. Officials have now asked Netflix to respond to the complaint. CM Mohan Yadav Performs Yoga and Sings Bhajans in Ujjain Mohan Yadav appeared in a different and spiritual style during a BJP training event in Ujjain. On Friday morning the Chief Minister performed yoga on stage and encouraged party workers to live a healthy and disciplined life. He practiced breathing exercises Surya Namaskar and several yoga poses for nearly ten minutes. Dressed in traditional clothes he also spoke about discipline fitness and following party values. During the event he asked workers to stay focused and work with dedication. At the end of the program Mohan Yadav sang devotional songs for Lord Shiva creating a calm and spiritual atmosphere. Party workers enjoyed the moment and welcomed his unique style with loud applause and excitement. Principal Arrested for Taking Bribe in Indore A government school principal in Indore was caught taking a bribe of ten thousand rupees by Lokayukta police. Rajkumar Chelani principal and nodal officer of a government higher secondary school was arrested during a planned operation. Police said he demanded money from a private school operator in exchange for settling a complaint against the school. After receiving a complaint officials verified the information and trapped the accused while taking the money. The action has created concern in the education department and raised fresh questions about corruption. Congress Makes Big Claims Over RGPV Financial Problems Indian National Congress leaders in Bhopal made serious allegations about financial problems at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya also called RGPV. Congress leader Gopil Kotwal claimed the university has been using fixed deposits and bank bonds to manage expenses during the last three years. He said extra spending has increased and the financial system is becoming weak. According to him several colleges linked with RGPV have moved to private universities since 2013 raising concerns about management and planning. Family Seeks Justice After Father Dies in Land Dispute A family in Sehore reached the police superintendent’s office seeking justice after the death of an elderly man in a land dispute case. The family said eight people were involved in the attack but police have arrested only five accused so far. They claimed the remaining suspects are still free and continue to threaten family members. The victim’s son said they fear for their safety and want quick action. Police officials accepted their complaint and promised to take proper legal steps in the case. CBI Takes Big Action in Twisha Sharma Death Case The death case of actress and model Twisha Sharma has taken an important turn after the CBI increased its investigation. Her husband Samarth Singh and mother-in-law retired judge Giribala Singh were presented before a special court and sent to five days of custody for questioning. Investigators want to understand what happened on the night of the incident and are expected to question both together.
