Chief Justice Says Judiciary Should Work 24x7 India’s Chief Justice Justice Surya Kant said that the judiciary should move towards a 24x7 working system to provide faster justice to people. He said public trust in courts is very important during the time of rapid technological changes. The Chief Justice also said that court software should use simple language so common people can understand it easily. He suggested training local para-legal volunteers in villages to help people who do not know much about technology. Justice Surya Kant was speaking at a seminar in Jabalpur. Supreme Court judges Madhya Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal attended the event. He said digital reforms should benefit every citizen including people living in villages and remote areas. BJP Leaders Summoned Over Vehicle Convoys The BJP leadership has taken strict action against leaders taking out large vehicle convoys during rallies in Madhya Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed to leaders to save fuel and avoid unnecessary vehicle shows. Despite this many leaders continued organizing big convoys. Now such leaders have been called to Bhopal on May 17 to explain their actions. BJP’s national leadership in Delhi has also sought a detailed report about the matter from the state unit. Hanuman Chalisa Recited at Bhojshala After the Madhya Pradesh High Court verdict on the Bhojshala-Kamal Maula complex in Dhar devotees visited the site and offered prayers peacefully on Saturday morning. The court declared the complex a temple of Goddess Vagdevi Saraswati from Raja Bhoj’s time and allowed Hindu worship there. Following the decision devotees performed puja and recited Hanuman Chalisa inside the premises. Police remained alert to maintain peace and security. Many worshippers described the court verdict as a historic moment for Hindu devotees in the state. Dindori Collector Promotes Water Conservation Anju Pawan Bhadauria visited several villages in Dindori district to inspect development work and spread awareness about water conservation. She toured Kati Gahan Sunpuri Bundela Patangarh and Bodar villages with government officials. During the visit she inspected water conservation structures and encouraged villagers to install rainwater harvesting systems in their homes. The Collector also interacted with rural women and explained the importance of saving water for future generations especially before the summer season becomes more severe. Digvijaya Singh Attacks Centre Over Inflation Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh criticized the central government over rising inflation and fuel prices. He said the country’s economic crisis is the result of leadership failure lack of planning and inefficiency under the Modi government. Digvijaya Singh claimed common people are suffering because of increasing petrol diesel and LPG prices. His remarks came after recent fuel price hikes triggered criticism from opposition parties. He said ordinary families across the country are facing financial pressure due to the rising cost of living. MLA Employee Dies in Swimming Pool Incident A young man working at the residence of BJP MLA Bhagwandas Sabnani died after drowning in a swimming pool at a resort in Bhopal. The incident happened at KK Resort in Kajlikheda area during a party with friends. The deceased was identified as Kunal Mahavat. Friends told police that he did not know swimming properly. Police have started an investigation into the case. The tragic incident has also raised concerns about safety arrangements at private resorts and swimming pools in the city. Teacher Recruitment Candidates Continue Protest Candidates who passed the Madhya Pradesh Teacher Recruitment Examination 2025 continued protesting in Bhopal on Saturday. Large numbers of Class-2 and Class-3 candidates gathered outside the Directorate of Public Instruction office demanding more vacancies and quick joining orders. Protesters said the government announced very few posts despite a shortage of teachers in government schools. Many candidates travelled from different districts to join the demonstration. They warned that the protest may become bigger if the government does not increase the number of recruitment posts soon. SUV Catches Fire on Bhopal’s Kolar Road An SUV caught fire on Kolar Road in Bhopal on Saturday afternoon creating panic among people nearby. Within minutes the vehicle was completely covered in flames and fire rose several feet high. The incident happened near Garden Residence ahead of Chunabhatti Rest House. Firefighters quickly reached the spot and controlled the blaze before any explosion could happen. No injuries were reported. Initial reports suggest negligence during workshop repair work may have caused the fire though officials are still investigating the exact reason behind the incident. MP Weather : Heatwave Continues Across State People in many parts of Madhya Pradesh are facing intense heat as temperatures continue to rise across the state. Cities like Bhopal Indore Jabalpur and Ujjain are recording temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius. Weather officials said heatwave conditions may continue for the next few days in several districts. Some eastern areas of the state may receive light rain and strong winds bringing slight relief from the heat. People have been advised to avoid going outside during afternoon hours drink plenty of water and stay protected from direct sunlight. Hot winds and dry weather are also affecting daily life in many districts.
