SC Slams MP Minister Vijay Shah in Col Sofia Case The Supreme Court has strongly criticized Madhya Pradesh minister Vijay Shah in the Colonel Sofia Qureshi insult case. The case is related to his controversial remark made during “Operation Sindoor.” The court said that Shah’s online apology came too late and cannot undo the damage. A bench led by CJI Suryakant along with Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice Joymalya Bagchi expressed anger over the delay. The court directed the Madhya Pradesh government to decide within two weeks whether permission will be given to prosecute the minister. At a press conference in Bhopal Congress SC Department state president Pradeep Ahirwar claimed that an organized flesh trade racket has been operating there for years. He alleged exploitation of young men and released five video clips as evidence. Ahirwar also accused three IAS officers of helping convert black money into white through a trust linked to the case. According to Congress the matter is extremely serious and needs a high-level probe. So far no official response has been received from the accused officers or the administration. Protesters said the government had announced recruitment for 8420 posts but appointments were made only on 2901 posts. Due to this many deserving candidates were left out.
