CM’s Son to Marry in Mass Wedding Ceremony Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s younger son Dr. Abhimanyu Yadav will marry Dr. Ishita from Khargone in a special mass wedding ceremony on November 30. Preparations are in full swing in Ujjain where two hotels have been booked for the five-day program. Some rituals will take place at the CM House (VIP Residence) while others will be held at Atharva Hotel. The wedding rituals including the pheras will be conducted at the mass wedding venue near Atharva Hotel. Only select dignitaries have been invited and the reception will also take place at Atharva Hotel. PA’s Stolen Mobile Sold to Lucknow Criminal Within Hours In Bhopal a shocking theft incident involving Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla’s Personal Assistant Sudhir Kumar Dubey has been solved. Two minors linked to the notorious Irani gang were caught for snatching his mobile phone. Police revealed that the accused sold the phone to a criminal in Lucknow shortly after the snatching. The phone has now been recovered from a train by police. Over 10 stolen or snatched mobiles were found with the accused. The operation highlights increasing juvenile involvement in organized crime networks. CMRAS Team Conducts Surprise Inspection of Bhopal Metro A surprise inspection began on Thursday as the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) team arrived from Delhi to conduct the final safety assessment of Bhopal Metro. The team first reviewed operations safety protocols and technical systems at Subhash Nagar Metro Depot. Later around 1 PM the officials inspected the metro track using a track inspection vehicle. This marks the third stage of the final safety examination. The inspection is crucial before granting approval for passenger operations raising expectations for metro launch soon. Collector Transfers Only After Special Voter Revision Ends The special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list is underway in Madhya Pradesh. The Election Commission has put a temporary halt on transfers of all officers and staff associated with voter list preparation including district collectors. The government is planning to appoint new collectors in some districts but transfers will only take place after February 7 when the final voter list is published. Until then all officials working on electoral rolls will remain in their present postings to ensure error-free revision. NDA Sweeps Bihar Election; Celebrations Erupt in MP The results of the Bihar assembly elections are almost settled with the NDA heading toward a historic victory. Out of 243 seats the NDA is leading on 202 while the Mahagathbandhan is trailing with just 37. Prime Minister Narendra Modi called it a victory of good governance. The landslide win triggered celebrations across Madhya Pradesh. BJP workers and leaders gathered at the party headquarters in large numbers. In Indore CM Dr. Mohan Yadav distributed sweets and celebrated with supporters. Fireworks and sweets marked the joyous atmosphere across the state. 14 Horses Missing in Jabalpur; 19 Already Dead A major mystery has unfolded in Jabalpur involving 57 horses brought from Hyderabad in May 2025. Shockingly 19 horses have died so far and now 14 more are missing from the Raipura farmhouse where they were kept. During a counting check by the Animal Husbandry Department officials discovered the disappearance. The case is already pending in the Madhya Pradesh High Court. The purpose behind bringing the horses to Jabalpur remains unclear and earlier investigations ordered by the then Collector Deepak Saxena failed to provide complete information. The matter remains under scrutiny. Dhirendra Shastri’s Health Deteriorates Again During Yatra Bageshwar Dham Peethadhishwar Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri’s ‘Sanatan Ekta Padyatra’ reached its eighth day but his health worsened for the third consecutive day. Suffering from fever low blood pressure and breathing difficulty he had to lie down on the road to rest. Devotees were seen fanning him with towels. World’s 78th Tablighi Ijtema Begins in Bhopal The 78th Aalami Tablighi Ijtema began today in Bhopal’s Eintkhedi village after the Fajr prayer. The four-day event running from November 14 to 17 is among the largest Islamic congregations globally. Nearly 12 lakh participants are expected this year. Devotees from 19 countries—including Indonesia Kenya Malaysia Saudi Arabia Iran and Morocco—have already arrived. Thousands more continue to pour in. Large-scale preparations have been made for accommodation traffic management food and security. Spiritual speeches prayers and religious teachings will continue throughout the gathering. November Chill Breaks Records; Temperature Drops to 8°C Winter arrived unusually early in Madhya Pradesh breaking several November temperature records. Shivpuri recorded the lowest temperature at 8°C on Thursday–Friday night. Bhopal and Indore also saw temperatures rise slightly but still stayed below 10°C. According to the Meteorological Department Bhopal recorded 9.6°C almost similar to hill stations. Indore stood at 8.2°C while Jabalpur recorded 9.4°C Gwalior 10.5°C and Ujjain 11.8°C. For the past week temperatures have hovered around 8°C leading to a strong cold wave across the state.
