CM starts cleanliness drive at MY Hospital Indore Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav kicked off Seva Pakhwada at MY Hospital in Indore by sweeping the floor with a broom. This marked his first visit after the recent “rat incident.” He said the hospital’s proud history would be restored through cleanliness and service. PM Modi asks shops to display ‘Proudly Made in India’ On his 75th birthday Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid foundation of “PM Mitra Park” in Bhainsola village in Dhar. Speaking at a rally he urged citizens to buy only Indian products and asked shopkeepers to display boards reading “Proudly Made in India.” He linked Swadeshi purchases with GST benefits calling it a national responsibility. Rewa MP washes children’s clothes cuts nails Rewa MP Janardan Mishra surprised villagers in Bardagaon Panchayat by personally bathing children from the Musahar community washing their clothes and cutting their nails during Seva Pakhwada. He spoke to mothers about the importance of hygiene and urged them to send clean and well-groomed children to school. Mishra said proper hygiene boosts health and confidence. Earlier he cleaned toilets as part of a cleanliness drive. Villagers were taken aback by the MP’s hands-on approach praising his effort to promote dignity and health in marginalized communities. Naxals abduct tribal youth in Balaghat In Balaghat Naxalites abducted a tribal youth Devendra alias Dhadu from Chauria village in Lanji area. Posters in red ink claimed he was a police informer and sentenced to death. The posters accused him of supplying milk and curd to the police station and sharing intelligence. Villagers have been warned not to cooperate with authorities. Police have launched an investigation while fear spreads in nearby areas. The abduction has heightened security concerns and raised questions about the influence of extremist groups in remote regions. Jabalpur’s ‘Namo Upvan’ shaped like word ‘Maa’ A new forest called “Namo Upvan” is taking shape on the banks of the Narmada at Bargi in Jabalpur. Covering 26000 sq. ft. it is being planted using the Miyawaki method in the shape of the Hindi word “Maa.” So far nearly 7000 saplings have been planted with plans for it to become a dense forest in 2–3 years. Launched during Seva Pakhwada on PM Modi’s birthday the project aims to offer a green space for pilgrims and nature lovers. The forest reflects a symbolic tribute to motherhood and environmental restoration. Ujjain groups protest against Ravan Dahan Ahead of Dussehra protests erupted in Ujjain against the burning of Ravan. Groups like Mahakal Sena and Akhil Bharatiya Yuva Brahmin Samaj put up posters demanding a ban. They argued that the Ramayana and history never mention Ravan’s burning and that the event has turned into entertainment and political spectacle. They urged Brahmins to stay away from the celebration. Last year they had petitioned the Chief Minister with the same demand. Despite her visual impairment she has been selected to play in the inaugural Women’s Blind T-20 World Cup to be held in India this November. Durga’s family was unaware of her disability early on and teachers provided little support. However she began excelling at the district state and national levels from 2022 onwards. Durga’s determination and passion now see her representing the country inspiring others with her courage and skill. Minister Vijay Shah sweeps barefoot plants sapling In Ratlam Tribal Welfare Minister Vijay Shah launched Seva Pakhwada by sweeping barefoot and collecting garbage with his hands. He also planted a sapling telling Commissioner Anil Bhana “Till this plant lives so does your breath.” The commissioner responded “Sir it belongs to all of us.” The minister highlighted the need for insurance and safety for sanitation workers and promised to share meals with them. Several officials and community members attended the event which focused on dignity cleanliness and environmental awareness. Raid at Bhind’s sub-registry office exposes fraud The SDM team raided Gohad Sub-Registry Office after receiving complaints of illegal stamp sales. Omprakash Prajapati from Gwalior was caught operating the registration computer while his associates escaped. He was handed over to police. Sub-registrar Sweta Chandolia claimed he was only helping but sources alleged collusion. SDM Rajan B. Nadhiya confirmed strict action will follow after investigation. Authorities are probing how widespread the irregularities are and whether officials were involved in the fraudulent scheme. Bhopal to add 100 new e-buses from New Year With public transport in crisis Bhopal Municipal Corporation announced that 100 new e-buses will be introduced from New Year. Currently only 95 out of 368 city buses are operational across 25 routes. New depots are being built at Sant Hirdaram Nagar and Kasturba Nagar. In a second phase 95 more buses will be added. MP Alok Sharma speaking at the District Development Committee meeting emphasized the urgent need to improve transport services. Officials promised to speed up the project aiming to ease the commuting burden on citizens.
