Ladli Behna scheme hits 26th installment CM Mohan Yadav released the 26th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana from Nalwa Gram Panchayat in Ujjain. With a single click ₹1543.16 crore was transferred directly into the accounts of 1.27 crore women beneficiaries across the state. The scheme which offers monthly financial support to women continues to be a major welfare initiative under the current government. Two granted bail in Raghuvanshi murder case Two co-accused in the sensational Raja Raghuvanshi murder case have been granted bail by an Indore court. Boy dies of rabies despite 3 vaccine doses A 14-year-old boy from Rewas Narendra Nagar died after a dog bite despite reportedly receiving three doses of anti-rabies vaccine. The boy Rajesh Nat started showing severe symptoms and was behaving erratically mimicking dog-like actions according to family members. His condition deteriorated rapidly leading to his death. The case has triggered panic and anger among locals raising questions over the quality or timing of treatment. Health officials are now investigating whether the vaccine was administered properly and in time. The shocking incident highlights gaps in rural healthcare and post-bite treatment awareness. Asaram spotted in Indore hospital visit Convicted rapist and self-styled godman Asaram was seen in Indore on Saturday for a routine medical check-up. Serving a life sentence Asaram visited the Super Specialty Hospital where doctors conducted cardiac and other tests. He stayed for around 30 minutes under heavy security. The sighting of the jailed spiritual leader sparked surprise and reactions on social media. Prison officials stated the visit was scheduled as part of his regular health monitoring. Ujjain ropeway to carry 2000 passengers per hour A new ropeway connecting Ujjain railway station to the Mahakal temple is under construction. Spanning 1.7 kilometers with three stations and 55 gondolas it will carry up to 2000 passengers every hour. Each ride will take about 5–7 minutes and operate for 16 hours daily. The project is being executed by MSIL with technology from global ropeway leader Doppelmayr. CEO Prafull Chaudhary said the system will be operational before the next Simhastha festival. The project aims to reduce pilgrim congestion and boost tourism in the temple town one of India’s holiest pilgrimage sites. ₹40 crore aqua park coming to Bhopal Bhopal is getting a high-tech aqua park in the Bhadbhada area with an investment of ₹40 crore. The foundation stone was laid today. The park will feature a digital aquarium interactive 3D zones a water tunnel and hundreds of freshwater and marine species. It will also host research labs a children’s learning center and a fish farming entrepreneurship hub. ₹25 crore is being funded by the central government and ₹15 crore by the state. Officials say the park aims to promote tourism nature awareness and education among youth while offering an immersive aquatic experience. Two killed in bus-auto crash near Ujjain A deadly accident occurred near Triveni Shani Mandir Bridge on Indore Road in Ujjain on Saturday morning. A speeding Royal Bus collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw killing the auto driver and a passenger instantly. The front of the auto was completely crushed. The bus driver fled the scene triggering a police investigation. Nanakheda police seized the bus and sent the bodies for post-mortem. The victims are yet to be identified. Locals blamed reckless driving and poor road safety measures for the accident. Officials have promised a thorough inquiry into the fatal crash. Rewa airport wall collapses in heavy rain Torrential rains in Madhya Pradesh are causing massive damage.
