Asaram spotted in Indore hospital visit Convicted rapist and self-styled godman Asaram was seen in Indore on Saturday for a routine medical check-up. Serving a life sentence Asaram visited the Super Specialty Hospital where doctors conducted cardiac and other tests. He stayed for around 30 minutes under heavy security. Ujjain ropeway to carry 2000 passengers per hour A new ropeway connecting Ujjain railway station to the Mahakal temple is under construction. Spanning 1.7 kilometers with three stations and 55 gondolas it will carry up to 2000 passengers every hour. Each ride will take about 5–7 minutes and operate for 16 hours daily. The project is being executed by MSIL with technology from global ropeway leader Doppelmayr. CEO Prafull Chaudhary said the system will be operational before the next Simhastha festival. The project aims to reduce pilgrim congestion and boost tourism in the temple town one of India’s holiest pilgrimage sites. ₹40 crore aqua park coming to Bhopal Bhopal is getting a high-tech aqua park in the Bhadbhada area with an investment of ₹40 crore. The foundation stone was laid today. The park will feature a digital aquarium interactive 3D zones a water tunnel and hundreds of freshwater and marine species. It will also host research labs a children’s learning center and a fish farming entrepreneurship hub. ₹25 crore is being funded by the central government and ₹15 crore by the state. Officials say the park aims to promote tourism nature awareness and education among youth while offering an immersive aquatic experience. Two killed in bus-auto crash near Ujjain A deadly accident occurred near Triveni Shani Mandir Bridge on Indore Road in Ujjain on Saturday morning. A speeding Royal Bus collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw killing the auto driver and a passenger instantly. The front of the auto was completely crushed. The bus driver fled the scene triggering a police investigation. Nanakheda police seized the bus and sent the bodies for post-mortem. The victims are yet to be identified.
