PM Mitra Park project kicks off with ₹773 crore tenders Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that tenders worth ₹773 crore have been issued for the first phase of the PM Mitra Park in Dhar district. Oppn leader slams govt over tribal harassment Fresh controversy erupted in Madhya Pradesh as opposition leader Umang Singhar slammed the government for alleged atrocities against tribal communities. He cited recent incidents in five districts including the demolition of tribal homes in Khivni Khategaon. In a post on social platform X Singhar said atrocities on tribals just won’t stop. He demanded immediate action from the state administration and accountability from top officials. The issue has sparked political outrage and is expected to intensify in the coming days with opposition parties planning protests and public meetings across tribal regions. Fire at Indore plastic factory A massive fire broke out at Sujal Plastic Factory in Indore’s Heera Nagar area early Wednesday morning. Thick black smoke was visible from a distance as flames spread quickly due to stored plastic materials. Firefighters faced difficulty reaching the site due to narrow lanes. Two fire engines used over 50000 liters of water to bring the blaze under control. Local residents tried to douse the flames before help arrived. Thankfully there were no injuries but the factory suffered heavy losses. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire. SUV overturns school van crashes on same Bhopal bridge A double accident on a busy Bhopal bridge has left residents worried. Late Tuesday night a speeding SUV overturned on the bridge connecting Prabhat Nagar to MP Nagar. Just hours later a school van carrying children hit the divider at the same spot. Three people were rescued and taken to JP Hospital. All are reported to be in stable condition. A video of the SUV speeding has gone viral but police have not yet confirmed details. Locals say the area is turning into an accident zone and are calling for urgent safety measures. 25 officials caught using fake ST certificates for jobs Gwalior’s STF has uncovered a major scam involving fake Scheduled Tribe (ST) certificates. 25 government officials from departments like education health revenue and police were found to have used forged documents to secure jobs. The racket came to light after an RTI activist filed a complaint. Investigations reveal an organized network behind the scam. Cases have been registered and arrests are expected soon. The STF led by DSP Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari is tightening the net. The state government is under pressure to act swiftly and transparently. Protests in Jabalpur after FIR against Cong leaders Tension erupted in Jabalpur as Congress workers hit the streets after FIRs were filed against party leaders including state chief Jitu Patwari and city head Saurabh Nati Sharma. Protesters gathered outside the SP office demanding justice. When police didn’t respond they started shouting slogans. Police detained Sharma ex-MLA Vinay Saxena and over 50 others. His brother Vipin Raghuwanshi claims that Meghalaya Police found two mangalsutras with accused Sonam. One was gifted by their family during her wedding but the origin of the second is unknown. The revelation has sparked fresh speculation in the case. Investigators are now looking into whether the second piece of jewellery was stolen or indicates a deeper connection. Heavy rain lashes MP roads flooded waterfalls roaring It’s pouring across Madhya Pradesh! On Wednesday heavy rain hit districts including Bhopal Ujjain Neemuch and Ratlam. Streets in Bhopal were submerged under nearly two feet of water and major waterfalls like Bahuti and Kedareshwar surged to life. The Neemuch-Kota highway was shut due to waterlogging. The weather department has issued a heavy rain alert for 10 districts with strong systems active for the next four days. People are advised to stay indoors especially in low-lying areas. Emergency services are on standby as authorities monitor river levels and urban flooding.
