CM Mohan Yadav Makes 9 Big Announcements For Youth CM Mohan Yadav makes major announcements for Madhya Pradesh youth. CM Yadav interacted with around 20000 young people at the CM Youth Conclave 2026 in Bhopal on Tuesday. The event focused on jobs skill development startups AI and sports. The Chief Minister announced that 2027 will be observed as the Year of Youth in Madhya Pradesh. He also announced that the MPPSC examination will be conducted twice a year. Several other announcements related to employment skills and opportunities for young people were also made during the event. The programme was held at the Lal Parade Ground. Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart Begins In Bhopal Tomorrow Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart will begin in Bhopal from Wednesday. The four-day event will be held at the Kushabhau Thakre Convention Centre also known as Minto Hall. More than 600 representatives are expected to participate. They include over 100 international tour operators from 34 countries and 180 domestic tour operators from 15 states. Investment proposals and agreements worth more than Rs 1100 crore are expected to be finalised during the event. This includes a mega investment agreement worth Rs 848.40 crore in Sehore. More than 10000 business meetings will also be held. Twelve strategic MoUs are expected to be signed. Special Drive To Add Names To MP Voter List Madhya Pradesh will launch a three-day special drive to add eligible voters to the electoral roll. Chief Electoral Officer Sanjeev Kumar Jha held a virtual meeting with Deputy Election Officers from Bhopal on Tuesday. He directed officials to organise special camps across the state on October 7 8 and 9. Eligible citizens can visit these camps to get their names added to the voter list. The camps will be organised at every polling station in Madhya Pradesh on all three days. The special campaign aims to ensure that eligible voters are included in the electoral roll and can exercise their voting rights. Stones Pelted At Team During Indore Road Clearance Drive Stone-pelting broke out in Indore during a road clearance operation. The Municipal Corporation and district administration started removing obstructing structures on Tuesday morning to complete the pending stretch of RE-2 road between Bengali Square and Pipliyahana. The unfinished section is around one kilometre long. Officials reached the Bicholi Kankad Shiv Nagar and Shiv Darshan Nagar areas with JCB machines a Poklen machine and police personnel. Some local residents opposed the action. The situation later turned tense when stones were allegedly thrown at the removal team and police personnel. The administration had launched the drive to clear the road construction route. Dispute Over Metro Route At Bhopal Royal Cemetery A dispute has erupted over the underground route of Bhopal Metro near a royal cemetery. Congress MLA Atif Aqeel has again opposed the proposed Orange Line Phase-2 route. Late Monday night the metro team reached the Shahi Cemetery near Bhopal Talkies and started putting up barricades. After learning about the work the MLA reached the spot and asked metro and police officials to stop the work. He said no work should be carried out on cemetery land without permission. Aqeel also asked the team to remove its machines and equipment. He said several graves of his ancestors and others are located there and has opposed this route earlier as well. Muslim Youth Urged To Avoid Garba Events During Navratri A Muslim organisation has appealed to young Muslims to avoid attending Garba events during the upcoming Navratri celebrations. The All India Muslim Tyohar Committee issued the appeal on October 6. Its national president Sheikh Ismail Khan urged Muslim youth and community members to stay away from Garba programmes. He said the appeal is not against any religion or religious celebration. According to the committee the purpose is to maintain social harmony and avoid possible disputes. The appeal comes ahead of Navratri when Garba events are organised at several places. The committee has asked community members to avoid situations that could lead to tension. Cyclonic Activity Over MP Rain Likely For Four Days Madhya Pradesh may see rain for the next four days due to cyclonic activity over the state. According to the Bhopal Meteorological Centre Jabalpur Rewa and Shahdol divisions are likely to receive rain. On Tuesday light rain with thunder and lightning is expected in Panna Satna Rewa Maihar Mauganj Sidhi Singrauli and Shahdol. Rain may continue in these areas on October 7 and 8 as well. Meanwhile Indore and Bhopal are likely to remain mostly sunny during the day. However nights may remain cool. The weather system is expected to remain active over parts of Madhya Pradesh.
