The victim identified as 27-year-old Jyoti Chaurasia had recently moved to the area and worked at a hotel. Police said she suffered multiple injuries during the attack. MP Pilgrims Allegedly Cheated During Char Dham Tour Around 145 pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh’s Alirajpur district have alleged fraud during a Char Dham pilgrimage tour. The group claimed they were left stranded in Chamoli Uttarakhand after paying extra money during the journey. According to reports the organizer was questioned by local police following complaints from the travelers. Monsoon Likely to Exit Madhya Pradesh by October 10 The southwest monsoon is expected to withdraw from Madhya Pradesh by October 10 according to weather experts. Before its departure the state is likely to experience a mix of sunshine and occasional rainfall. Clear skies are expected over Bhopal Indore Ujjain Gwalior and Jabalpur during the next three days. Rainfall may return to eastern parts of the state around October 5. Weather officials said daytime temperatures will remain warm while nights are expected to become cooler.
