Officials say the new service will improve transport in faraway areas and provide safer and better travel facilities for common people across the state. 32000 Contract Health Workers Begin Indefinite Strike in MP Around 32000 contract health workers in Madhya Pradesh started an indefinite strike on Tuesday. These workers are linked with the National Health Mission and provide important health services in many areas. From today they stopped both online and offline work to protest. The workers are demanding better job conditions and support from the government. Reports say they may also surround the Chief Minister’s residence on June 8 if their demands are not heard. Major Decisions Taken in Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Meeting A cabinet meeting led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was held on Tuesday and several important decisions were taken. The government approved a plan to provide registered land documents to many families under the ownership scheme. Another decision was made to provide ready-stitched school uniforms to students studying in government schools. Officials said these decisions are aimed at helping families and improving support for school children. The government believes these steps will make services easier and benefit people across Madhya Pradesh Twisha Case: Husband and Mother-in-Law Sent to Jail A special court of the Central Bureau of Investigation sent Twisha Sharma’s husband Samarth Singh and mother-in-law retired judge Giribala Singh to judicial custody for 14 days. The court sent both accused to Bhopal Central Jail until June 16. The investigation agency did not ask for police custody after which the court ordered jail custody. Reports say both accused will be kept separately from other prisoners. The case has received public attention and the investigation is continuing in Bhopal. Storm and Rain Bring Temperature Below 40°C in MP Strong winds and rain have brought relief from heat in Madhya Pradesh during the last two days. Maximum temperatures in many cities stayed below 40 degrees Celsius. In Bhopal and Gwalior the temperature was around 37 degrees while Indore recorded 38.2 degrees. Ujjain saw 37.5 degrees and Jabalpur recorded 38.7 degrees Celsius. Weather changes have given people relief from hot summer conditions. Many residents enjoyed cooler evenings after rain and strong winds in several parts of the state.
