Major Explosion in Dewas Firecracker Factory A serious explosion happened in a firecracker factory in Tonk Kalan area of Dewas district Madhya Pradesh on Thursday at around 11:30 AM. In this accident three workers named Dheeraj Sunny and Sumeet lost their lives. Around 25 other workers were injured and taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The workers were from Uttar Pradesh Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. The blast was very powerful and parts of the bodies were found far away. The factory building was also badly damaged. After the incident the local administration sealed the factory. Police have taken the factory owner Anil Malviya into custody for investigation.
