Daylight Bank Robbery in MP: Loot Worth ₹15 Crore A shocking bank robbery took place in Singrauli Madhya Pradesh in broad daylight. Around five armed criminals entered a Bank of Maharashtra branch in Baidhan at about 1 PM. They fired shots to create panic and escaped with 9–10 kg of gold and ₹20 lakh cash. The gold is estimated to be worth nearly ₹15 crore. Reports say the stolen gold belonged to customers who had pledged it for loans. Police have started an investigation and are checking CCTV footage to identify the suspects. Security has been increased in nearby areas. Teacher Aspirants Detained Before CM House Protest In Bhopal teacher recruitment aspirants were stopped by police before they could march to the Chief Minister’s residence. Many protesters were taken into custody and transported to police stations in buses. The candidates allege that police misbehaved used abusive language and even caused injuries including fractured fingers. Congress Plans Mass Fund Collection in MP The Congress party is planning a new strategy to strengthen its organization in Madhya Pradesh. The party aims to collect ₹100 each from 30000 families in every विधानसभा (assembly constituency). Party in-charge Harish Chaudhary said the proposal has been sent to the central leadership in Delhi for approval. If implemented this could become a major grassroots-level campaign to rebuild the party structure. Schools Open in 43°C Heat: Children Demand Holiday Severe heatwave conditions in Madhya Pradesh have triggered anger among students and parents. Despite temperatures reaching 43°C and heatwave alerts in 20 districts schools remain open. Children have appealed to the Chief Minister saying “Please give us holidays.” Parents are also worried about health risks. Weather officials say some areas may receive light rain on April 19–20 which could bring slight relief.
