Due to misleading posts on social media people rushed to petrol pumps causing heavy crowds and long queues. In Rewa police had to be called to manage the situation. In Bhopal a Nayara petrol pump on Airport Road was sealed after complaints of limited fuel supply. However officials and pump operators have clearly said there is no shortage of fuel. They confirmed that enough stock is available and supply is running smoothly. Authorities have appealed to people not to believe rumours. Girls Outperform Boys in Class 5 and 8 Results The Madhya Pradesh State Education Center has announced the Class 5 and Class 8 annual exam results. School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh declared the results in Bhopal. This year 95.14% students passed in Class 5 while 93.83% passed in Class 8. Girls performed better than boys in both classes. Narsinghpur district secured the first position in Class 8 results. Indore ranked ninth while Bhopal could not make it to the top 10. The results show a strong academic performance across the state. MP Student Dies in Scotland Family Suspects Murder A 21-year-old student from Bhind studying in Scotland has died under suspicious circumstances. The student Sanskar Srivastava was pursuing MSc in Forensic Science at the University of Stirling. Scottish police informed the Indian Embassy that it was a case of suicide. However the family has rejected this claim. They say Sanskar was a bright student performing well in studies and earning good money through a part-time job. His mother said he spoke to her recently and planned to return home soon. The family is demanding a proper investigation. Fire Breaks Out in Chemical Warehouse in Gwalior A major fire broke out in a chemical warehouse in Gwalior on Wednesday morning. The incident happened in Rajshree Apartment located in Khurde Wala Mohalla. The fire started on the ground floor and quickly spread to the first floor. Residents panicked and ran to the terrace to save themselves. Some even jumped to nearby rooftops. Police and fire teams reached the spot immediately. Three fire brigades and a chemical control vehicle worked for nearly an hour to bring the fire under control. No casualties have been reported so far. Dial 112 Staff Caught Taking Bribe in Rewa A shocking video from Rewa’s Chakghat area shows a Dial 112 employee taking illegal money from truck drivers. The accused identified as Yogendra Singh Thakur was seen collecting ₹300 from each vehicle while wearing his uniform. After the video went viral and media reports highlighted the issue IG Gaurav Rajput ordered strict action. An FIR has been directed against the accused. The incident has raised serious questions about corruption in emergency services. Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken. ₹2.26 Crore Fraud from Government Account in Bhopal A major fraud case has come to light in Bhopal where ₹2.26 crore was stolen from a government account. Fraudsters used fake signatures of Collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh and Deputy Collector Nidhi Chouksey to withdraw money from the District Urban Development Agency (DUDA) account. The crime branch has registered a case against five firm operators involved in the fraud. Investigation is underway to trace the accused and recover the money. Officials are now reviewing security measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
