Scabies Outbreak in Betul Village 28 Cases Reported A scabies outbreak has been reported in Danavakheda village of Betul district. Health officials have identified 28 patients including 19 confirmed cases of scabies. A medical team reached the village and started treatment immediately. As a precaution six children were admitted to a community health center in Ghoda Dongri and their condition is now stable. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation. Drinking water is being chlorinated and villagers are being educated about hygiene and prevention. Officials say the situation is under control but are continuing efforts to stop the spread of infection. Hailstorm Damages Crops; Lightning Kills Woman in Khargone Sudden weather changes have affected many parts of Madhya Pradesh. Hailstorms damaged wheat and orange crops in Pandhurna and Betul causing heavy losses to farmers. Rain also brought relief from heat in some areas. In Khargone a 55-year-old woman died after being struck by lightning while working in a field. The weather department has issued an alert for 33 districts warning of storms rain hail and lightning. People have been advised to stay indoors and take safety precautions as unstable weather conditions continue across the state.
